I recently finished a 12 year organ project myself so appreciate the trials & tribulations of organ building. This instrument here sounds quite good. Thanks for sharing.
Wellcome to all, I'm very glad to share with you this video of my homemade pipe organ. I know, my performance and recording are not so good, but i think it's enough to be pleasant. I'm still working on bellows, there is still a little "bouncing sound" and I'm refining the tuning and voicing. Remember to watch also the video 2, the link is at the end of this video.
+nippocast I've been wanting to make a home made pipe organ, with the actual pipes being made out of either wood or maybe PVC pipe. Where can I go to better understand the mechanics and how to make one per se. I can't find too much information. I wanted it to be small but of course well in tune so at least it's playalble.
+Themostamazinguy Hi, One good source is the ebook: the art of organ building. There are all mechanical parts explained and the scale for the manualboard and pedalboard, with suggestion on how to tune and voice the pipes.
I'm also planning to get into organ building. I have found very good information here: www.rwgiangiulio.com/ , here: www.die-orgelseite.de/ , and I haven't yet looked much at this site, but it seems good: www.sentex.net/~mwandel/organ/organ.html . Just research, _and think!_ a lot, you will develop an understanding, at least I did. I hope your endeavours are fruitful :).
prosit sincero per la costruzione, per la timbrica,l'intonazione,l'accordatura ecc. ecc. Bravo!.. In seguito ,se gradisce, le manderò una mia piccola realizzazione con materiale di recupero e in parte autocostruito
By chance, the last video I watched was of a "sampled reed organ"---an electronic approximation to the sound of a very simple reed organ, but without the dynamic control afforded by the bellows of a real reed organ. Expensive electronic wizardry of limited life devoted to imitating a simple instrument that can be bought cheaply and maintained in good condition indefinitely. Your superb homebuilt pipe-organ offers a total contrast to all that. It looks good, sounds magnificent and will (like a real reed organ) last for ever. It satisfies the eye and ear in a way that no digital sham can ever do. Sincere congratulations!
COMPLIMENTI!
+Adam Štefunko Hi, thanks! not all the pipes, I have made from start to finish only the first 12 of the manual and some missing... the others are old pipes in very bad conditions (nineteenth century) that I rebuilt. the white keys are in flowered maple

Yop, I realized that it's quite obvious coz it's pretty hard to make metal pipes. I desire to build a small positive organ. First, I thought I would use wooden pipes, but since I have no woodworking skills, nor could I find old pipes which I could use, I found it very challenging. Then I found the Wick's book on organ building, where the whole chapter is about making pipes of paper. So, instead of wood, I started experimenting with paper. I think it's easier to do and cheaper for beginners and the sound isn't that bad. However, I'm not using his design, but two designs I found on the Internet and slightly altered. I hope when I get more skills I'll change over to wood.
+Adam Štefunko Yes, make it... the sound is pretty good. I'm Italian and here I haven't found any used or old pipes, so I search on internet and Ifound that the English organ builders sell a lot of cheap old wood pipes.

Nice playing. Looking at the specifications for the organ, if the lowest bourdon pipe produces an 8' equivalent tone, shouldn't the bottom octave be C2-B2?
Wonderful intimate warm sound. Beautiful performance of the piece. You are too modest. If you are only "un appassionato" as you've said in your info. section, well, for me it sounds very professional, at least for an home-instrument. Bravo!

I've been listening to these videos for years now. Something about this does Bach proud, the privacy of it and the workmanship that went into it.
Maestro! I suoi organi hanno un suono pazzesco, angelico. Master! His organs have a crazy, angelic sound.

It could be that the Bourdon has a similar tone to the Libliechgedackt, of which, being translated into english, means "Sweet Covered".

Are the pedals coupled to the Manual or are they an individual rank?
They are an individual rank
Amazing. One question: what music is that?
It's Bach's Prelude No. 12 from the first book of the Well Tempered Clavier
How much did it cost you to build this organ
Hi Jack! it cost me about €1500
Thanks
And what were the biggest costs
I would of added more pedals to it like say either 28 pedals or the full compass of 32 pedals.
Yes, next year I'm going to upgrade the pedalboard
Great sound!
I have a follow up question how much did each thing cost pipes blower would
Hi, now I don't remember the prices of everything but the metal pipes I paid about € 400 and the blower € 150
Thank you

What is the air pressure of the blower shown at 1:29?

basically a flute with a keyboard
