This is the most important song released this year. Really, the message here is so important. The criticisms presented here and in their short films are so so so important, and they need to be shared. Pressure on the youth in Korea is ridiculous. I've been living in SK for about 4 months now teaching English, and even I can see the pressures these kids face day to day. It's heartbreaking. I have students who go to school and then go to 4, 5, 6 different academies on top of that. 10 year olds who work and go to school literally all day. I can't. The pressure is insane. And with such high pressure placed on them, unfortunately, the youth suicide rate in Korea is absurdly high. I cannot express enough how proud I am of these boys and the staff involved in creating this masterpiece of a story that explores the difficulties and struggles that youth face. For speaking up and being uncensored, for taking a stand for mental health and saying that they won't stand by and let this cycle continue without trying to do something about it. everyone in the comments calling C9 "small company" but hey look they had the courage to comeback a rookie group not even a year in their career with such an meaningful and triggering concept, especially in Korea and they somehow managed to tie this concept up in incredibly unique and interesting plot of next comeback "jungle" even if C9 are small they are geniuses and CIX like a dark horse of new gen of kpop
I also want to note how the company showed the topic of suicide and bullying, without any romanticization story films of "numb" comeback was raw, ugly (not in terms of quality) and terribly honest C9 didn't sugar coating these films and and for the safety of viewers, they put a trigger warning in every video and added a link to a site to help people suffering from depression "we're never alone" they said i have such a big respect for them
CIX criticizing the entire education system and the toxic culture among students while bringing awareness about mental illness and suicide still impresses me!! I come back to this all the time as well as the story films, I can’t wait for chapter three of this trilogy:)
The lyrics are freaking incredible. 99% of songs have lyrics about love but they're talking about depression, indifference of the society and youth problems.
Right, its great to see such types of songs. That also why I love stray kids, as only recently they wrote a love song for an OST but the rest of their discography is based on experiences many people go through

@@shiloh8734 Are you stupid? Every group age have their problems. Just because young people don't have to "pay the bills" it doesn't mean they don't have to work a lot too. School and university can be extremely stressful. I'm a college student and I literally spend 10 hours in the uni between lectures, group projects, exams, practices, etc, while someone that has an established job only has to spend their 9 to 5 workday and go home. They don't have to worry about exams, projects, finding a job in the future etc.
Listening to this song makes me cry 🥺 They were great for telling the story of how students struggles from expectations that were too high, from the lyrics "If not 1st, then a loser" hits really hard cause since I could relate to it cause having a family with too high expectations to you was too tiring and the lyrics just made me realize that I shouldn't give up when they say "Go back to square one, like the first time" it gives me strength ✊ CIX IS DEFINITELY WORTH STANING AND THE WORLD NEEDS TO KNOW!!!!!

I remember listening to this song on repeat during my senior year of high school. It really resonated with me (still does) and I'm so grateful that CIX released this song when I needed it the most.

I really wish CIX makes it big in the near future. They do deserve it. They are one of the best rookies yet they are not nominated much because they are not from big companies. Dohyun Mummy CIX are actually doing a lot better than rookie Bts. CIX has a strong fandom thanks to Wannables (Baejin) and Mates (Gon, Seunghun) which continued to support them in their new group. They’re a group which got one of the fastest first win after debut and they guested on several variety/talk shows. CIX is doing great and they’ll continue to grow in 2020
A KPop boy group that is talking about actual issues through their music that is barely talked about in KPop and everyone decided to sleep on them. Amazing honestly. I can never understand how they are not one of the biggest boy group in the industry right now with this level of music, solid choreography, meaningful lyrics and a well established lore. Their visual is an add on. I am a baby FIX who has just turned 1 month and I don't think I have fallen for any group faster than CIX. They are just amazing
there were rumours he's slated for the second team (magnum) but dropped out of it because he left the company with hun. we don't really know what happens behind the scenes but the rumours concerning ygtb have always been accurate.
They left weeks before the final lineup was announced. When the 2nd group was announced, GonHun were already in Osaka. They couldn't have planned that trip on short notice. No one knew how soon but there were speculations they left immediately after the YGTB finals, weeks before the last Magnum member was announced.
I'm actually surprised with how meaningful the lyrics are! As an international fan, just listening to the beat without truly understanding any of what they're singing, hurts a little, but Kpop songs are more than just the visuals, the catchy music, the powerful dance moves. It's a message, a wonderful message delivered by these talented idols. I like this song so much!

i will never understand why they haven’t blown up yet. this is EXACTLY what kpop fans expect from a kpop group. heck, CIX probably exceed the standards of a regular kpop group. can’t wait for the day they become big.

This song represents a lot of students in Korea where others don't care even though a classmate bullied I think that CIX must have thought a lot before they have a comeback with this topic because it's still a sensitive topic in Korea
Lin Lin and if you watch kdramas, it seems so normal to have the odd, less rich, unattractive one being bullied and everyone just stands around and do nothing. I’m waiting for that one writer and director to bring awareness to the topic and show people how one individual can save someone’s life by just stepping in and intervene.

New FIX here. I can't believe that a song that is SO MEANINGFUL, with a really deep message, is pretty unknown. This concept is strong, its important. I can't believe that the only songs that get noticed are the classical love song or the "we're sexy yeah" songs. Like what the hell?! COME ON. I would really like to see something THIS DEEP in kpop. I'm grateful I've discovered this group.
I suggest b.a.p and stray kids for deep messages. Their songs have a lot of meaning. I'd say stray kids meanings are lighter (can't think of a better way of putting it) than b.a.p but both are worth a listen to. You may like Vixx's concepts as well, though they're more based on literature, they are very interesting. I like how you can pick up different meanings from texts such as Jekyll and Hyde though it may not be to your liking.
I'm noticing that the groups from non-populer companies are doing better than the populer ones such as chungha from MNH,Ateez from KQ, now CIX from C9. They are coming up with new concepts. Amy Connors I feel like it’s a direct criticism on the situation for students in sk. The classroom scene reminded me a lot of that song a few high school students made about the same issue. I can't believe. Its really true what some say. If you dont like Kpop it means you havent found the right group and I have been following Cix since the released Hello Strange Place which really help me get through some hard times. Thanks CIX for those clips, just being able to watch those made me feel like im not alone and keep going because we will all be in a strange place where everything is confusing but just keep going and maybe you'll find a better place.

This is the most important song released this year. Really, the message here is so important. The criticisms presented here and in their short films are so so so important, and they need to be shared. Pressure on the youth in Korea is ridiculous. I've been living in SK for about 4 months now teaching English, and even I can see the pressures these kids face day to day. It's heartbreaking. I have students who go to school and then go to 4, 5, 6 different academies on top of that. 10 year olds who work and go to school literally all day. I can't. The pressure is insane. And with such high pressure placed on them, unfortunately, the youth suicide rate in Korea is absurdly high. I cannot express enough how proud I am of these boys and the staff involved in creating this masterpiece of a story that explores the difficulties and struggles that youth face. For speaking up and being uncensored, for taking a stand for mental health and saying that they won't stand by and let this cycle continue without trying to do something about it. Thank you, CIX and staff.

and they somehow managed to tie this concept up in incredibly unique and interesting plot of next comeback "jungle"
even if C9 are small they are geniuses and CIX like a dark horse of new gen of kpop
I also want to note how the company showed the topic of suicide and bullying, without any romanticization
story films of "numb" comeback was raw, ugly (not in terms of quality) and terribly honest

School and university can be extremely stressful. I'm a college student and I literally spend 10 hours in the uni between lectures, group projects, exams, practices, etc, while someone that has an established job only has to spend their 9 to 5 workday and go home. They don't have to worry about exams, projects, finding a job in the future etc.

They’re a group which got one of the fastest first win after debut and they guested on several variety/talk shows. CIX is doing great and they’ll continue to grow in 2020

I'm actually surprised with how meaningful the lyrics are! As an international fan, just listening to the beat without truly understanding any of what they're singing, hurts a little, but Kpop songs are more than just the visuals, the catchy music, the powerful dance moves. I suggest b.a.p and stray kids for deep messages. Their songs have a lot of meaning. I'd say stray kids meanings are lighter (can't think of a better way of putting it) than b.a.p but both are worth a listen to. You may like Vixx's concepts as well, though they're more based on literature, they are very interesting. I like how you can pick up different meanings from texts such as Jekyll and Hyde though it may not be to your liking.
