Thank you for another technique combo skiller. Great to see the patterns on screen, and be able to adapt and modify for sounds I can't make yet. When you have explained the basics to us, it would be great to see some pattern combos in 5/4 or 7/8 time signatures.
This tutorial is amazing. Thanks so much! I’ve been avoiding tkK for years but am really practicing hard to get it down. I’ve focused so much on musicality in the past, but now it’s time to finally get my tech down. Apparently my inward k snare sounds really good, and I’m doing tkK correctly now, just need to build more comfort and speed. At least that’s what my beatboxer peers tell me. I’m struggling to go faster but I feel a little more comfort each week I practice. But it still is a bit frustrating. It seems to come really easy to some of my beatboxing friends, but it’s so hard for me. But at the same time, I find some sounds easy that they find extremely difficult. Anyways, just wanna say thanks again, and keep making 🔥 content!
Thanks skiller, I learned something new and know I will practice fast tkk patterns to level up more! As for tutorial requests: One for the slizzer roll would be great. I can't seem to get it from any tutorials I found on YT 😁
Hey skiller you just answered my question in the beyond the beats podcast where i asked about your preference, musicality or technicality. Well i got my answer and looking forward to work on my rhythm in beatbox . Getting these advice from a world champion means a lot. THANK YOU.ESH!
Finally getting better at it and understanding it cleanly and deeply, now I understand and can do it slowly in a clean way in these complex patterns,INCREDIBLY!! lOVE IT :DD
i will be extremely happy if you make a tutorial about the rimshot. Since for me you are the technicality god i want the god himself to explain this sound :d
Bro, you mentioned outward k snare and you did a k snare. This can be confusing for some new beatboxers. The pattern TkK is: T - Hi Hat without "s" k - Outward k snare (Letter C without air) K - Rimshot (Inward K snare, but without air and you need to do it on a side). 2 years I wasn't able to do TkK because some tutorials are confusing. Much love.
Wow 🤪 when I said outward K snare I did outward k snare :) It is clear bro ... t - is hi hat without s k - is outward k snare c - rimshot Check out the description. :) Much love ❤️
yeah for real, the click on the side sounds hella similar to your outward k so i was confused until i read this, thinking you were somehow getting two outward k’s at the end i’m still struggling to go from k to click though, my tongue seems to take a bit of time to get into position and apply pressure for the click so i can’t seem to do it very fast yet
Hey Skiller! Love from Kolkata,India ❤️ . I started doing beatboxing a couple of months ago . Today I was just scrolling down and your video just came up , and no offence I am just jumped into it . Great tutorial. ESH!
@@skillerbeatbox yes, but the way I make the gun reloade sound is to do very fast kK so now it's hard for me to control it amd make clean tkK. But it's ok I have found other fast techniques and your resent uploads were very useful
I am part of that group that does tkK with inward k's. I try to do the second k outward but as soon as I speed it up, it goes back to just t + double snare like the guncock sound lol Also these videos are like my dream come true!
Hello Skiller , I'm from Poland. I started practicing beatboxing a year ago and I have a problem with the vibration of my mouth and the right moment to take a breath. In Poland we don't have such detalied guides, I hope you can tell us what to improve. Best regards
Yo SkilleR do you ever think about competing again? What about SkilleR + Alem doubles battle? O__O (I know Alem is in uni) Also you should do reaction vids to wildcard and stuff. or maybe you cannot as judge.
Really awesome tutorial! Sadly I'm still struggling with getting it to be fast. It's like I can start it slow, pick up the pace, but then I just hit this barrier that's difficult to get past 😞...imma keep at it tho!
I’m a little confused on the T sound, is that supposed to use air from the throat or not? I know you’re not supposed to breath with your lungs, but does the airway close or stay open? To be more specific, you talk in the rimshot video about not breathing for that sound and just using the air muscles in your throat to pull the air back. Should I use those muscles to push air out for the T or block the air flow (using the back of my tongue and soft pallet, like I’m about to say the letter K)?
Yo guys! 🙌

How long aprox do you have to practise tkK to get this ammount of speed
It depends on you. You can have very nice TkK for 1 month if you practice a lot.
I'm Confuse with Tkk . Its to hard for me . I think there is a little secreat to that fast technique
I do my TKK’s inward. Is that weird ?
C is the side of a mouth?
I’m a little confused on the T sound, is that supposed to use air from the throat or not? I know you’re not supposed to breath with your lungs, but does the airway close or stay open?

Should I use those muscles to push air out for the T or block the air flow (using the back of my tongue and soft pallet, like I’m about to say the letter K)?
The T sound is just a little flick with the tongue. You should use only the musscles of your throat and tongue to make the sound.
