    This guy is one of my favorite players. I'm a Celtics fan, but I do like watching the high flying Clippers. I don't care if they win or lose, so I'm not a bandwaggoner, I just love watching them sky. DeAndre plays tough D and gets crazy blocks, and can run the floor for awesome Oops, and Monster Slams. Ask Brandon Knight how Over-Rated he is.

    Definitely has improved his game, but still has so much more potential! More post moves and a jumper and he's all set :)

    he's a good teammate, anchors the Clippers defense, hustles and hustles and hustles, grabs rebounds, imposing inside defender and sets strong hard screens

    But he is speaking the truth. A lot of people just jump on the bandwagon of the Clippers and say Deandre, Griffin and Paul are the best, but they can't accept the facts that they aren't. If these guys were so great they would've defeat the Grizzlies in the play-offs.

  • @sweetchucksono
    @sweetchucksono 12 років тому +1

    Not really, I noticed his hook shot improved greatly this season. Give him time, with small ball getting prominent, De Andre will be the Clippers best asset in the long run.

  • @chesschampion94

    People should be paying close attention to the clips because theyre a contender with probably the best bench in the nba. Crawford was a huge addition, but there are other great players coming of the bench such as bledsoe and barnes.

  • @michaelmurray616

    I'm not saying he has superstar potential but he is a great role player, every team needs players who will accept their role and help the team. Jordan is an athletic big who can run the floor, defend, re-bound, score inside and clean up misses. He is only improving on defence so he can become their anchor on defence. Blake Griffin doesn't have shooting touch either, he still needs to develop. You can hardly compare him to Shaq though, that's not fair.

  • @ThePandaPlayGame

    idk if harden has really IMPROVED rather i think he's just getting more minutes as the focal point of the offense. deandre's role hasn't changed all that much, but he has definitely improved across the board.

  • @BMWVX
    @BMWVX 12 років тому

    I personally believe he became so good only because he has to compete against Griffin every single day in practice, so he learned a lot from his team, although he was already very athletic initially.

  • @ezrhino100
    @ezrhino100 11 років тому

    actually, i don't watch espn. i am a student of the game. i have been following the clips ever since the elgin baylor days. deandre is a great athlete which is why he can get away with it. if he indeed had a good post up game, he would be getting way more touches. jamal crawford is the reason why people should be paying close attention to the clippers this year. he has the best cross over in the game, and a dead mid range game.

    He had 9 To in 20 minutes few games ago... that's astonishing, he is a center, he never dribbles, never does anything with the ball in his hands. How is that even possible?

    Best personality in the NBA

  • @jzsbanks2
    @jzsbanks2 11 років тому

    First of all, it is rare to have a center that is as athletic as DJ who can run up and down the court faster than other big men, block shots, finish lob dunks where a player can just throw a lob pass in his vicinity and he can go finish, jump high for rebounds, etc. Plus, he developed a solid post game in the offseason and is in the running to get the Most Improved Player Award. Also Shaq on NBA TNT has called him the "Best Center in the West". Basically, you're statement is wrong and ignorant

    Sarcasm doesn't really show on the internet, does it?
    What the hell is an offensive rating?
    I agree with you. He's adding to his game, just not that great yet, which doesn't really make him a candidate for MIP. If you want to see an improved player, check out OJ Mayo or Chandler Parsons. Those guys are killing it.

    * don't watch games
    I have seen games. I'm actually an LA native and I've always held the Clippers in high regard, even during their tougher years.
    His post moves are close to nothing bro...he doesn't have a go-to move, and a lot of his offensive production comes from fast-breaks, alley-oops, and finishing wide-open layups from Chris Paul's great court vision. Most big men in the NBA can perform these aspects of the game with ease (maybe excluding Kwame Brown!!).

  • @bchen972

    i mean yeah hes got some potential. he has no shooting touch so that kills his potential. YES he is a center but even shaq made outside paint shots. His priority is defense yet hes not a big man stopper. Hes a blocker which sucks cuz they really need a stopper. but hes probs more of a 10 pt 9-10 rb 2 blk kind of guy.

    you mean 8 points a game post up game? yeah. i see what you mean. hakeem would be envious... now that i think about it, hakeem highlights were all post up moves. i have yet to see deandre show a highlight that wasn't a dunk. great players like chris paul don't need to dunk to make the news. deandre is not for real. when he is, the clippers will have rings on their fingers. until then, they are a dunking team.

  • @chesschampion94
    @chesschampion94 12 років тому

    You havent seen DJs post moves because you dont watch the game. You only watch highlights. If you were working for ESPN, would you show highlights of a player posting up or a player gettin an alley oop? I see your one of those fans who just pays attention to stats and highlights ESPN likes to show.
