Thanks John, I would have used something similar but wanted to do a basic video for those who were not confident enough to string the whole set up down.
Another excellent video, covering things that not many channels do. Were you tempted to go for the blue Hammerite that almost matches your car colour, or went for the black because it tends to hide dirt easier and matches everything else you painted?
Great video! I also need to clean up and protect the wheel arches on my car and was wondering how well the Hammerite is holding up? Have you had to re-apply the paint recently or have you switched to any other products? Cheers!
Springs are Eibach pro sport kit, shocks are unbranded shortened shocks I got from a friend for free so couldn’t pass up. Would recommend bilstein b4 it b6 shocks depending on what you are doing with the car
I need a little help, does someone now the part number of the plastic cover where the brake line passes to the engine? I can clearly see it here in the video, that has a cross cut where the line passes... Any help appreciated!
Keep them coming mate brilliant 👍🏻 it’s on my list coming in the next couple of weeks.
Great video. Simple hint like folding the hose to slow the flow is great, why didn’t I think of that. Thanks
Thanks David appreciate the comment
Ah winter lockdown project!
Pop up gazebo and a little blow heater be perfect 😂
Looks great, I was planning to use like a bedliner spray.

Awesome
Hi mate what did you use to get rid of the rust as mine rusting in the same spot
I used a rust cure like kurust, it eliminates the rust from coming back prior to painting over it

That’s it, if I did it bright blue I would be included to clean it more haha. If it’s dark colour it will look clean for longer haha.

It’s not doing too bad but if I’m honest I would go for POR 15 it’s a better product and lasts a lot better also works better and stopping rust
The wheel arch liner itself could do with a rbberised shutz coating, even a bit of foam glued behind it to cut road noise.
Your right it does, I’m actually going to replace them all at some point as all have some form of damage, plan to dress the new ones accordingly :)
Only thing with foam is it can keep water pressed against the metal which usually leads to corrosion
i see some rust on the edges of the wing and the sill, needs attention before it rusts through
Yes buddy going to treat them and paint blue, will be getting taken off fully and resprayed over winter
Noice 😎
Is the hub nut meant to be that far out or am I forgetting something
What shocks and springs you using mate?

Was thinking the same set up are the shocks any good they are £150 on eBay, I’ll look into them It’s just a fast road car stage 2 with all the goodies
There alright, don’t think they would last long on track but road wise they are ok. Reckon they’ll last a couple years
I was gonna do this but I luckily had 0 rust in the wheel wells somehow to my luck.
Your very lucky. I’m sure my car was parked in the North Sea at some point
@@TheParrottBros probably next to mine I guess!
M0rb1d 😂 bad isn’t it, it’s like the owners just don’t care. I’ve never seen so much rusty metal in one place before
The Parrott Bro’s Ive never had a rusty vag car, somhow I avoid rust without trying😂
Scott C I must admit this is the worst I have had by along way 😂. I guess it’s lucky really as it benefits everyone UA-cam 😂 me

What're your thoughts on lanoguard wax type products for the undercarriage?
Under body protection specially the clear wax’s are well worth doing if you are planning to keep the car long term. Ideal for future proofing
@@TheParrottBros which do you recommend?
@@faziousj there is plenty of options out there. Wax oil brand ones are good and also Bilt Hamber Dynax S-50 Anti-Corrosion Wax
