Right? I'd heard about this but didn't know it was on UA-cam... How cool. These guys put on a great show & they're the least pretentious band in the history of pop college radio. We used to see these guys in Louisville & they were without fail fun nights. Cheers. ✌️
Had a copy of this DVD about 20 years ago when I was a kid. Thought they were really cool and unique at the time. I'm back again and still love this band. Very unique and interesting after all these years.
Thanks for posting this. They were the last show that we saw in St. Pete before this pandemic kicked off and they were great! Just bought a copy of this DVD as well...
This is my favorite band ever and I have been through a lot of decades. They have more original songs and lyrics than any single songwriter I am aware of. Willie Nelson has nothing on Ben and neither does James Hetfield. Both I would have sworn were among the best of my lifetime but Ben is is his own league. Pisses me off they aren't all wealthy and insured. I can adopt one of them and add them to my policy.
I tried to hire them to play at my lake house in 2017 but the manager wasn't around. I was going to pay 30k and invite the whole lake. Since then my ex divorced me because I was too much fun and she destroyed me financially and took my kids so all these sings have gotten me the worst time of my life. It was even worse than losing my folks and baby sis in a fire in 2014 because they had no choice. She did. I had to pay so much for her to steal my kids from me that I had to sell the house I waited to by after the fire, till I knew she would stay. That's what she was waiting on....a paycheck. She planned and schemed for 2 years and then hit me with it out of the blue. I lost 3 to a fire and 3 more to her greed. I cried every day for my kids because I had never missed a night at home with them and suddenly I was homeless. I just learned to live with the pain and look past it. Like Ben said in "Drink till we're gone" we all have a country song in us.
If Lucero were a movie they would be "the Outsiders !" This is the real deal , folks ! It's in their DNA .years ago I sent them a gift / tour package full of all these cool CDs and books ....wonder if they got them ? One of the best live rock n roll bands . Viva , Lucero .
