An unashamed, provocative, extremely close-knit community: Turbojugend Playing with homoerotic and otherwise provocative symbolism, the unstoppable punk band Turbonegro, in its early days showed the middle finger to the whole world. One intoxicated night in '95, they founded their own fan club with a joke. So, what the hell? The unpredictable and absurd band quickly earned the respect of even Norway's most notorious black metal bands. Everyone knows the Kiss Army, but what is the mythical fleet that Turbonegro unleashed and has grown into a global phenomenon, known provocatively as the Turbojugend? At the heart of Turbonegro's fandom are love and fraternity that doesn't look at age, skin color, or gender. The Turbojugends really know how to have fun and the highlight of the year is the Weltturbojugendtage on the Reeperbahn, where often the members of the Turbonegro themselves are celebrating among the thousands of Turbojugends all over the world.
