Hi Tracy 👋🏼 I am from Georgia, USA. This is a Southern state. We Southerners call it a porch. I discovered your channel yesterday and instantly subscribed! I am nervous decorator. By which I mean - I don't even try out of fear of making a mistake or wasting a lot of money. However, I binged watch your videos and started listening to your words - ("shop your house"). I fell in LOVE with the plank on the table w/the candlesticks as decorations. For the first time in a very long time I said - "I can do that and make it my own" Thank you for becoming an inspiration! I feel motivated.

I’m in State of Georgia in the USA. We call it a porch, but I love veranda as well. Your decorating inspires me every time I watch. Blessings from Bev.
I live in northern Mississippi,USA. We came to England in the 90’s to tour. We built our cottage in Tutor style. Your home is absolutely gorgeous. We say porch here. Recently we had a tornado in our town. We lost almost almost all of oak trees that were probably 150-200 years old. We also lost many more trees. Our beautiful town is recovering nicely even though it looks totally different. I enjoy your channel so much.
I am in California USA. We say porch. I also laugh whenever you say "right up my street"... I always say "right up my alley" haha. I love the distressed and sanded look of the table and chairs. The oak arm chairs are incredible!!!! You are sure not afraid of hard work. I think I need to invest in a small hand sander. The vignette with the mirror, books, plants and candlestick... is right up my ally! And of course, your amazing garden views just can't be duplicated. At least not in my tiny little yard. Thanks so much for all the inspiration. Have a happy day.

In Kentucky we love our porches. On the front of our homes and the back. We always have a swing and rocking chairs. Lots of plants. Ferns and flowering plants. Yep! We call ours our porch.
Hi Tracey, I am from the United States. I live in the very North Western part of the State of North Dakota. I've been watching your videos and absolutely live your style of decorating. I've also changed my styles several times over the years. I tend to upgrade or make changes every 7 to 10 years. I have also been thrift shopping, garage saling, antiquing, or upcycling my entire life. I have recently bought a fixer upper home, I'm excited to re do. Lots of changes coming. The one thing I will be adding is a front and wrap around porch next spring. I love all the green accents your putting on your Varanda (porch). I will be using green in my newly refurbished kitchen. Thanks for all your tips in decorating! Enjoy watching you!
I love your porch! We love our porches here in S. Carolina USA. Porches are a symbol of hospitality here in the south. We are well known of our huge porches. They are our outdoor living space. Once the weather turns warm, this is where I spend most of my day. I love my porch!

Hello from Kentucky!!! We call the front a porch and in the back we have a covered patio. I love everything about your videos . They are so beautiful!!!
Porch. I love the term veranda, but I grew up here in Texas calling such spaces porch, and that just feels right. I lived in Louisiana for 9 years and even there most of the time they called it porch, though in some areas they referred to the downstairs porch as the veranda and the upstairs or any upper roofed porch as the "gallery." I have a wrap-around porch, meaning the porch wraps around 3 full sides of my house, and I love it! I couldn't decorate as you do though because of the elements (wind, dust, heat and rain), the animals (cats, dogs, raccoons, opossums, etc.) and even smaller living creatures (birds, bugs, wasps, spiders, occasional snakes and skunks). My porch is a very active place even when I am not out there. Seems every time I put something breakable on the porch something out there breaks it. I have to be very careful with upholstered items too since we have so many spiders here. So I use a lot of metal and painted wood, ornamental and vintage as much as possible, but it has to be rugged, easy to paint, and water resistant. I do love your style and look though, very nice. Thank you! (So, an idea if you wanted to add a bit of the South or the Islands to your porch, is to add some blue paint to the ceiling of your porch. Look up the term "haint blue" and you'll get some history and color ideas. It really did help deter paper wasps from nesting on my porch.)
Your wrap around porch sounds wonderful! So many decorating opportunities! My son was out in Texas for 4 years at college so I was a regular visitor and I remember the wildlife could be a bit lively😂 I’ve seen the blue ceilings in the Florida Keys and was told they were to ward off evil spirits and if the keep the wasps away then all the better! Thanks so much for watching and sharing such interesting facts🥰
Hi Tracy, this is the first time I've seen your video, so I subscribed. I'm from Texas, and we say Porch. I love the way you styled your veranda, just lovely.
I think we call our ‘veranda’ the deck. Yes it’s covered. I have white wicker chairs from Pier One from years ago for half off. Some rockers and a twig/branch swing from my husbands father. Susanne from Montana

I'm a new subscriber from Southern California. We call it a porch and the backyard; we have a patio area. I enjoy your channel with decor tips... Thank you for sharing.
UK here and used to live in Surrey. Love your videos, you deserve to have lots of followers!!!! Porch to me is more of a front entrance way or even back entrance but more to do with the entrance than anything else and usually has a covering. A veranda is more a raised platform and outdoor room-like. So to me your video is about a veranda and is too grand and an amazing outdoor space and to call it a porch is to underestimate it!
What a gorgeous porch, I am from Colorado and we call it a porch. Next week on Friday I will be moving to TN. I just love your channel and am telling my girls about it. Your decorating is amazing. I hate for your videos to end! 🙂
Here in Pennsylvania we use porch. Sometime I use VERANDA when my grandmother comes out of me. I also use the accent. My boys used to laugh when I did this. Your VERANDA look lovely.

Oh thank you so much and thanks for sharing! ❤️❤️
Definitely a porch here in South Carolina, USA. Just found your channel and love your style. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

That’s exactly how I would describe a porch!! In the UK it’s a covered entrance! Thank you for explaining it so clearly to everyone🥰
In Australia we call Alfresco,I love the deco, beautiful
Ah thanks so much 🙏🏻😊🥰

Love your veranda! We call it the deck in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, but we get 80-100 mile winds so creating such a beautiful deck is out of the question.
