Joey gets Cancelled ✋🛑

NBC cancelled Joey after airing their last episode of the Friends spin-off show, almost a 3 month break following the previous one which was a double episode that aired on December 15, 2005:
S2E12 Joey and the Tijuana Trip + S2E13 Joey and the Christmas Party,.
Not only "Joey and the Snowball Fight" (S2,E14) was aired after a long break that could have led viewers to think the show has already been cancelled but it aired without much promotional TV Spots in a totally different time slot, on a wednesday night againt the juggernaut that was American Idol back then.
The next last 8 episodes were never aired on NBC. Starting with episode Joey and the Dad which see a cameo appearance of Robert Costanzo who already played Joseph Tribbiani Sr. on Friends.
According to his interview ( • "That Guy" with Robert... ) Bob was gonna be added as a regular character on the show prior to its cancellation.
