Just found this so late comment. I worked at Reeds in the early 60s and remember it as a huge complicated place covering virtually all the land between the A20 and the river (as described in another UA-cam I also just found), with heaps of staff facilities, including sports fields. It was apparently the largest mixed mill in Europe, and No 13 machine making newsprint ) from sulphite not recycled) had the biggest output of any such machine. I moved to New Zealand (where in fact the 2nd largest paper mill had been built by people from Reeds in the 50s), and worked in several industries - mostly now closed for Chinese imports. We visited Aylesford in 2016 (as it happens the same year as this video) and found a deserted wasteland with a few empty warehouses and a very small paper mill. 3rd world indeed and unfortunately NZ has followed suit.
