It is powerful and I like the external handles that turn the internal brushes to clean it. I am only running one machine with it at a time. My longest run (8M) is to a Hammer A26 and it has plenty of power for that distance.
Hey there Builtfixed! How do you make sure your workpieces are cut square while using the sliding table saw? I understand that may not be a concern in this video, but I just got a Hammer saw and would love to know what you may do.
Hi Daniel. Congratulations with your saw. Which model did you purchase? I am not sure which crosscut setup you have but the process in general to calibrate is similar. Checkout this video ua-cam.com/video/_cn8FGuCXEM/v-deo.html to see how to do a 4 cut test. If your error out of square is beyond your needed tolerances then adjustment will be required.
I could also recommend that you check the toe-out "freecut" of both the slider and the rip fence independently first. The workpiece must travel away from the saw blade to prevent binding. I have some video checking this using a dial indicator.
Ah, I wish that was the case then I'd be using a top of the line Felder 900 series. I actually used a Dewalt portable contractor table saw for a long time using jigs and makeshift outfeed tables to cut wood well beyond what it was designed for. If you take a look at the video link you can see what I was using. ua-cam.com/video/NfKj3tQDxs8/v-deo.html
How do you like the AF22 dust collector? how is the air filtration and maintenance of the cannister filteer?
