Book advocate here: in the books Chubs is just a really smart blue, not green, and the reason that they can’t make a second movie is bc they used most of Ruby’s development from the later books in this movie! For example: she only learned how to mind control people without touching them (not to mention multiple people) in the later books, so they wouldn’t have anywhere to go for her :(
For some reason, having just one person with superpowers in the world is scarier than having many people with superpowers in the world
Well, when there's only one "god", that's an absolute power, no one can resist, so all that's left for others is fear, while if there's a group of people with powers, they will probably be busy fighting each other, instead of normal people.
"Blue is safe." Dude threw a tree and ripped the road up. He's more dangerous than fire or mind control.
more dangerous than mind control? ok bro
Are u ok?
Disagree, orange is way more dangerous bc they can just control anyone with powers
Agreed, 'Watership Down' is _BRUTAL!_
The most unrealistic thing about this movie was erasing herself from the only guy she liked and who actually liked her back to keep him safe.
I’ll never do that, if the world is ending then bitch, my bf is coming with me. We live together and we die together.
Go read the book’s
selfish
well the good thing (or bad idk) is that he can never fully forget her, so he suffers through loving the stranger he is supposed to hate
I've already watched a recap of this movie but this one is so much better - great job!
Same
Hol up now how did she go from fully black to biracial 💀💀
The power of diversity
That’s what I was thinking 🤣🤣🤣
Black people can be born in many different colours, 2 black parents can even have a white passing baby
Ain’t the first or last time these ppl suck for casting
Think about how many tv black family’s have biracial kids but black parents and siblings
My exact thought!!
This movie sounds like it was meant to be a series instead not all in one go it did hold potential
The darkest minds is one of my favourite book series and the movie doesn't do it justice, some much was changed from the books that (in my opinion) ruins some of the charactures. Also if they are going to make a sequal they need to wait for teh copyright for the second book.
Agreed! I have read the books as well
She went from a black little girl to a biracial teen.🤣
These are Not the Droids you are looking for…
Ready to attack what??? Just live in harmony damn
Isaac Asimov's "The Mule" had a similar power. Foundation Series, "Foundation and Empire" 1952. It was essentially "persuasion". He could and did basically make cult followers. Imagine having the power to persuade: a security guard, security captain, backstage hands, stage crew, the main band or group performing, getting the mic, persuading the audience, getting influential people to come forward and offer opportunities to persuade more people via tv, radio, concerts...You could in a matter of weeks or even days influence most or all of the world. The power to affect how others think and feel could give them the world.
I read that series when I was young. I thought it was more that he could "adjust" your emotions so that you would be absolutely loyal to him(had to be face to face to do it .... or was that another character. It also pointed out two economies , one having to squeeze the most out of limited resources (at one far end of the universe) and the "empire" with unlimited resources and wasteful? Maybe Mule wants to settle Mars until the earth runs out of resources, and depopulates with designer race killing viruses, with nuclear or neutron bombs(the war gambit), with famine(the soylent green gambit) and pick up the pieces(or not), which would make a good story line, that I thought of last night before falling to sleep. Maybe charm is the greatest superpower of all and the only thing to counteract it is reason.
dude so many scenes in this movie are always in "mysterious unexplained" videos.
Ah. Forgot i watched this. Thx!
The books: 💯👍🏻
The movie: 🙃👍🏻50%
I watched this movie and I love it so much. Def my favorite movie that isn't anime.
10:37 You mixed up Clancy with Liam here . . .
this movie is almost like logan
Avengers, no
... X-Men
so do they lose their powers when they are adults? if not then why bother fight the adults? wait a couple years and the adults would've died of old age? all kids still have super power... the end🤷🏻♀️
No. It means that this whole generation of human beings will be left with abilities and therefor making the “dangerous”
I know a smart way to figure how to expose the camps "helping" these kids w/ odd abilities.
Also, there has to be a smarter way to save others than separating.
That was a pile of garbage man! Dumb character decision, our movies protagonists and antagonists don't make smart and rational decision anymore, that's frustrating
Thanks for the video👍! Really helps save time not to watch these kinds of trash!
Ok In my opinion a bit harsh but I do agree. The books that they were based off were sooooo much better!
Poor man’s Divergent… 🤣
I love this movie and novel
Sound like the goverment this orange level power.
The parents are sick too if forget. Children that not die get powers. Some are bad.
I’m a couple minutes in and I think I’m just going to watch the movie first. Looks pretty good
And did you like it??
Just stumbled upon this video but is the narrator Detective Void?
This is my wife. Not yours, she's mine
I ma getting tired of yt watching me. I watched this yesterday and then read the book
What the movie called
this movie was so awesome and twisted
telekenetic should be stronger than mind control...
Not when mind control can just puppet the telekinetic
@@gups4963 exxxactly. Thank you.
Telekinesis: throw a weapon at someone, they can react consciously
Mind control: make them think you threw a weapon and it hit them, or throw one and make them think they got hit
what a lame movie😕
you did not..
@@karterd5556😂😂
This movie is exactly how teenagers think a movie should be written. Smh 😵
Lol
NO!!!! Not great job! Your voice is anxiety inducing. It's like having Gilbert Godfrey narrate it.
The book is wayyyyyy better
Wow that's a seriously irritating narrator...
