This is a great overview of the goodies that work for you. I either have the same items or have some equivalent of the tools you mentioned. A video about your scissors would be wonderful. I don't have the best fine tip scissors for fussy cutting, just something that will get me by.
Wow! You put a lot of work into this video! Bravo, it’s really excellent! However as I was watching, I began to realize that we don’t always overlap in products we use. Then I figured it out: I’m from the time of the dinosaurs! I started rubber stamping in the late 1980’s & diecutting shortly thereafter! Most of the companies you’re familiar with are much more recently started companies! My first ink pads were from Hero Arts; Ellison, the parent company of Sizzix was the first American diecutting company & Cuttlebug had dies & embossing folders about the same time!! I don’t think you mentioned those companies at all, & I’m not being critical, not at all. Cuttlebug is gone now, but the other 2 still produce craft items. I have almost every die cutting machine that Sizzix makes, you would laugh if you saw the original machine, it had a crank handle that you actually used to create the pressure to cut into the paper! And the dies themselves were big, heavy & clunky! It made the manually operated machines look like things from the future!! Tim Holtz came on the scene around 2000 & introduced his first Distress inks around 2001. So those are the companies I started with! And as you will probably agree, the companies we start with are more than likely those who we continue with. Not better or worse, just different!! I agree with you on most of what you highlighted-lighted! I also have too many paper trimmers, (my favorite is the original Fiskar’s, which also has a replaceable blade) too many mats,(my favorite is going to be the magnetic mat you mentioned as soon as I can buy it! Thank you!) too many scissors, (my favorite are Tim Holtz’s newest recoil scissors in 2 sizes). That is because I have advanced arthritis in my fingers & hands. My favorite fussy-cutting scissors are very small Martha Stewart ones, which when I have to replace, I don’t know what I’ll do! I prefer the 2 sizes of the Score-Pal scoreboards because they have the easiest rulers to read. I do use the glue press tool with Art Glitter glue in it & want a 2nd one for Bearly Arts glue for all the reasons you mentioned! I use the 2nd bone folder you mentioned because I can hold it in my hand & straighten my index finger down to the flat tip, which is easier than using something flat, if that makes sense! I’ve gone on way too long, but I really enjoyed your video & wanted to applaud you for the thoroughness of your discussion! I learned a lot & am glad I watched! Also I’ll be retiring my TH glass mat when I get a Glassboard Studio, mainly because I think using the ruler magnets to hold things down will be easier for me. I have subscribed. I worry that you’ll think I’m some crazy old lady, I guess I am! Merry Christmas! Erica❤
Aww...Thank you, Erica, for your thoughtful recounting of all your favorites! ❤️ It was a fun read. I use the Couture Creations Precision Stamp Press, it’s less than $50 Canadian and I like it as the 3 sides are open so there’s less restriction on space you can use (I have a platform similar to the Misti but hardly ever use it due to the space restrictions with the edges boxed in all the way around it)
Awesome! Thx for offering another good choice! I'm wondering if the edges around the Misti are gonna bother me when I start using mine more (I was gifted one).

@@LVHandcraftedI'm glad you haven't knuckled under and gotten one. I've read a lot about the company, and I feel like they're paper craft industry bullies. Your Stamp Easy does the same thing.
I’m been making cards for 25 yrs. Started with wood mounted stamps & still love and use them. I made my own stamp platform rather than purchase a MISTI. Then when she sued Tim Holtz, I swore I’d never buy her product. I was able to purchase TH platform after the suit-small one for $12 and large one for $25-st Tuesday Morning (now out of business). Sweet Petunia also sued Stamin Up with their platform and probably other companies that I’m not aware of. I still like to use it for cards tho because I don't think anyone is keeping my cards forever and ever. 🤪
I had same issues so got rid of it. I buy double sided tape mostly from Scrapbooking Made Simple and 10 yr old cards have not come apart. Elizabeth Craft Designs also makes good double sided tape.
I can’t believe you don’t have a Misti!!! You’ve spend money on all the other ones. lol.
😂 lol I'm actually not much of a stamper and the one I have works really well. So there was never a need. 🤪 Thanks for watching and commenting! ❤️
I had tried a MISTI and didn’t like it due to size restrictions &wasn’t willing to spend that much on it.
@patriciacyzauskas4067 interesting. I didn't know about all the law suits.
