Im a 62 y.o. filipina who enjoyed your video. Reminded me of my youth days when my mother would take me and my siblings with a number of cousins to her island province in the southern part of the Philippines. There, we enjoyed our summer days away from busy roads full of jeepneys. We hiked most of the time if we want to go places. There’s this spring in the middle of nowhere after hiking for almost 2 hours. It’s a respite after walking in the heat of the sun. The spring is like a basketball court in size but Im not sure of its depth. There were rocks around it and locals maintained the cleanliness. It was an enchanting place for us who are city borne. We thought of fairies and witches surrounding the spring. I nevet get to go back there as it was taken over by insurgents. Memoirs of my youth.
Hi ma’am Lourdes I just read your comment these are my kids they were sort of city slickers as well, but actually born and raised here in the US. Just liked your mother we taught our children the same thing since they were both very little. We took them back to the province every chance we got. Now when both of them decided to migrate to the Philippines 🇵🇭 they sort of familiar with the culture it works made to their advantage. Yes this places were used to be filled with insurgents but somehow their grandfather made sure that they’ll be able to enjoy this places now a days made some sort of deal that they won’t touch anyone who goes up on the mountain and enjoy the resources and the scenery. In the long run they just started leaving this mountain ranges I guess they all moved away from southern Leyte and went somewhere else. Thank for stopping by and for your courteous comments. Please subscribe and if you can share the video it will help them enormously. God bless!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Look so enchanted that place reminded me of my old neighborhood in Guadalupe that borders Makati and Bonifacio before BGC was developed. Another great vid boys...👍👍👍
