I don’t know how others feel and in all honesty it doesn’t matter what we think anyways, but I definitely miss Dado and the garage shop and seeing you two put lots of hours into getting the bikes all modded out... just doesn’t seem the same, but I get it, we have to accept change in today’s age (whether it’s easy or difficult), but I’ll still continue watching and hoping for a little more excitement from the staff working on the bike for you... that’s what made the videos so entertaining was you and dado joking around, the humor, the babes, just seemed so chill.. keep up the great work.. get that staff some coffee and wake them up! Maybe they are camera shy?
Your opinion absolutely matters and I appreciate you sharing. It will take time for us to all get to know each other and for them to get used to a camera in their faces. Give it some time and it will get back to how it was :)
Jaret Campisi appreciate the comment. Yeah, I’m sure with time, it may turn around.. just loved the way it was.. but Like I said, I’ll keep watching and hope that things get better with time! I’m jealous of the weather you’re having.. I’m dealing with snow right now! Keep going to the garage and cleaning the bikes and counting down the time until spring lol.. hopefully Dado makes an appearance in the near future!
I agree, I really stopped watching....this is the first video I’ve clicked on in a while and the footage looks like every other 25 Californian motorcycle you tubers videos
First off Merry Xmas and a happy new year to you and your lady, Missing Dado his garage and the manager now that was golden. You need that chemistry back man.
Give it some time man things will get better. We weren't going to stay in PA with that shitty weather just because of Dado as much as we loved him. Being able to ride year round and work with some of the best ducati techs around is like a dream come true for me.
Now it begins! Looking forward to it Jaret...and good luck with the series! Nice beginning here and could you find better Ducati experts anywhere? This will be epic.
I hope the mechanics will get more comfortable with the camera and viewer interaction, as we all know Dado did that perfectly, the atmosphere is just not there yet. But of course that can not be expected on the first day, I really really hope that this will work out.
haha yeah and honestly I was not feeling well at all so that didn't help either. In time I'm sure it will get back to being a lot of fun so stay tuned!
Dado started out just as this guy, uncomfortable in front of the camera and shy, people just need to get adjusted to the idea. Also Dado was family, so different connection there as well :)
That family connection was part of the magic. It was relatable for common folk on UA-cam. UA-cam is where anyone with a camera can make a name for themselves...like to see the little guy make it. This felt more like video 1 of ?? corporate let’s make $$ video. 🤷♂️

I am realy looking foreward to when the building starts. Its amazing to see the envirements you are driving in after you moved to California, would freaking loved to travel there to ride a rental bike in the winter. Its freaking awesome to ride in Norway also but now its freezing and my Xdiavel is parked inside, looking foreward to the summer in about 3-4 month.
I would trade the beautiful sightseeing from CA to the more boring western PA countryland to get Dado back on the show... you, guys together were interacting so well that it is tough to switch... good luck though.
This is a more serious, straight to the point typa bike build which is good but Dado and his gang needs to move to Cali n open up shop. Keep up the good work tho.
Going to be a great build series Jaret, Love the Diavel bike. For those complaining about the shop guys, imagine having a camera stuck in your face for the first time. I don't blame them being a little quiet it's the first service what do you all want them to be doing cartwheels. Once the guys see all the cool parts and the bike transforming they open up. Wish I was out riding my bikes it's minus 23 today brrr
I look forward to this build Jaret. I am really a performance kind of guy with sports bikes but I do like to cruise from time to time also. I'm pretty curious on how this will turn out. Keep up the good work I really like your videos.
Not trying to hate on you or the video Jaret, hope you know my feedback comes from a good place as I'm a long time subscriber but this mechanic doesn't seem lively enough for this series. I know there is no replacing Dado and while this guy seems like a good mechanic he seems kind of dry.
Merry Xmas and Happy New Years! i first saw your video reviewing the Suzuki gsx-r600 couple of weeks ago and now I'm a new subscriber and pledging your patron channel woohoo
Beautiful bike, weather there looks amazing. I was trying to get a 821m after my hayabusa fall years ago, unfortunately not able to just yet. Rode the xdiavel and it was a fun bike to ride. Cheers on the new year guys. Ride safe!
Remember Martin Scorcese: he and and DeNiro were good friends and worked very well together and he made sure he invited DeNiro yet again to work on yet another motion picture. He never thought: he's getting very famous and he's in the limelight and I'm in the shadows!
Hey Jaret. Just read the rules for the giveaway and saw that there is an option to send a postcard. One question to the size of it. Since im coming from Europe/Germany there is no 3x5" postcard so is it a must that the postcard has those measurements or is it just needed that it is a postcard?
Jaret I dunno if we got used to Dado but I miss having him on the videos; your new mechanic is not very talkative lol. Also, I don't see any beer laying around, you need beer if you are working on motorcycles lol.
I’m not sure that the proposed mods will materially improve the bike all that much. Maybe a quick shifter, new exhaust and some lighter wheels, but that’s about it.
Looking good brother. I know you’re just starting this one but after the EICMA coverage I can’t help but think about your next one. If you could some how get your hands on one of those MV Augusta Brutale 1000s for a build, that you could be something else. Welcome back to the Best Coast!
Yeah I'd love to do one of those for a build but they are a limited production so not only will they be hard to get BUT there also won't be many parts for them so I'm not sure that will be a good option.
Shouldn't you drain the oil from the brake lines as well? Now you have new and old oil mixed. I always drain via the bottom plug on the caliper and flush it thru
Hey Jaret 😊 how much do you think it cost in a year for its maintenance? And also some of my friends says that the XDiavelS is not ideal because of its fuel consumption, is it true? How much gas per mile it consumes?
I've been getting around 40 mpg which is pretty solid but it really depends on how you ride. Yearly maintenance is pretty cheap actually...just one oil change per year for around $100 and thats it.
@@JaretCampisi oh thats amazing 👌🏼 and also i've heard some major issue about that bike, i've been planning to get one for almost a year now but it concerns me alot when some guys told me that the Ducati should put a Chain Belt on XDiavel which is common instead of the current belt that they put on it, because you know it could possibly tear apart when it got hit by a rock or something that is hard, what's your opinion on this? I mean i really want to know your feedbacks about it because i really want to get one someday 😊✌️
@@aParadoxGuyFromLanao I've heard about people having issues with any bike to be honest. I say buy what you like and handle problems as they occur. In my experience as long as you take care of things and service them correctly you won't run into many issues with any bike you own.

The biggest problem with custom fabbed parts like exhaust is that you won't see the performance gains that you would with some like a termi or akra especially on higher end bikes like these this is a old shovel head. You can custom make small stuff but that stuff that never gets noticed and for the machining costs there's a good chance that what you need is already made and produced for less then mill/lathe time.
