If they lose to OKL its almost a lock that all SEC teams will have at least 2 losses this year. SEC doing away with divisions is the best thing to happen to this sport in a long time.
At the end of last season, Quinn said he wanted to work on understanding the defense pre-snap. Your cuts here show exactly why, and the two interceptions are great examples. Quinn saw the nickel blitz coming on the first one, but it didn't click that if the LB buzzed hard he would have Worthy in the second window with room to run. On the second pick he should have realized that he had AD 1-on-1 against a much smaller corner. In the playoff game against Washington he actually saw it, threw it, and got the touchdown. This season I've seen him do a much better job of understanding the defense, verifying post snap, and going to the alert or gimme.
And even worse, the backup center was injured a week beforehand, meaning we had to turn to a true freshman who hadn't played anything but garbage time. And we still nearly won.

This is the third year in BVs defense. Different defensive tackles, much much better than last years. LBs are bigger and faster. Ends are also better. Zach Alley is calling the defense and has added to BVs defense. All that to say, this isn’t last years defense. If we had a healthy Oline and our 4 best WRs and not stating a true freshman in his second start, OU is probably undefeated and have played a much tougher schedule. Doubt this is a blowout. Most likely gonna be a one score game. Emotion and desire always plays a big role in this game. Texas has to defend a very fast QB meaning playing man is very dangerous. He can out run anyone on your defense. If f he doesn’t turn the ball over and we can run, which we will be able too, that opens the passing lanes. Hawkins has a very fast release and can move around to avoid any pressure.
McCollugh back for OUs defense is scary. He is the 6' 5" linebacker that was on EVERY play of the goal line stand last year. I got a feeling with the bye week, OC Seth got some plays ready for Hawkins Jr to excel. OU wins again in upset...
I bet Seth seat gets a lot hotter after this game lol. A team is who they are 6 games in. OU’s offense is not gonna make some huge turnaround with all the injuries and bad coordinating. Please live in reality lol

But they’re ranked #7 according to FEI and the Defense is ranked #4. OU’s defense is ranked #10 with Michigan being ranked #7. FEI takes into consideration opponents played as well. Unless an absolute blunder happens, which is always possible, Texas wins this one comfortably. Not necessarily a blow out, but comfortable.

I disagree. TX can probably spot OU 2 turnovers and still win comfortably. OU was +3 last year and TX was still winning with less than 2 minutes. If no for heroics by DG on that last drive. This year they don't have DG or an offensive line and TX is much better overall.

Cant imagine Sark doesnt get a ton of shots at Venables during the game and starts carving up that OU defense by the 2nd half if not 2nd quarter. 22+ point win. 30+ point win if Sark breaks tendency and shows no mercy in the 4th. Which he should do in a rivalry game
