Until I SAW the film I figured that'd be upfront information given how prevalent it is in the marketing. In 20 years time a new generation will discover this movie and be able to see it as intended...Still, a fun time at the movies!
Now that you mention it yeah like from Dusk Till Dawn they should have kept the vampire premise out of its marketing I think I might wait for this one but if the timings are right at my local theatre and I have nothing else to watch I'll check it.
It was entertaining, but trailers are really giving away too much these days and taking the excitement from everything. It's almost as though they don't care if they ruin the movie, as long as you still go see it.
Im watching it tomorrow with my son. He is an adult. I say that because i know bad parents exist that give their small kids nightmares on purpose. We cant wait to see it.
'House on Willow Street' (2016) has basically the same premisse, with demonic possession instead of vampire

just saw it and given how long it takes to get to that scene, i wish i didnt know going in
