About time you did some more Hardy 😀. Now that you have heard sold out, you need to do "the mockingbird and the crow" which will explain the whole rock side of him. Then you need to obviously check out more of his songs like "Radio song" "Jack" "Kill Shit til I die" for his "rock" songs, but also more of his country like "red" and "a rock". Oh and also check out his cover of "Blurry".
His whole album is a crazy ride, half country half rock and the songs just get harder and harder. He's coming to my fair in August and I can't wait to see him live! You have so much more Hardy to listen to. One of the best in Country right now. All his songs are fantastic. I would recommend listening to A ROCK or Radio Song next from him. He also did a great cover of Blurry by Puddle Of Mudd.

He is such a great lyricist. I fell in love with this song (& then Hardy in general) when I heard it on Octane a few weeks ago. Never thought I'd hear the words "redneck fuck don't give a damn, ain't afraid to throw a dead buck on my Instagram" on rock radio. But as someone who loves metal & country, I love it. This song hasn't gotten old yet. And yes, that's him doing the screams. And yes, I so agree with the Alice in Chains vibes on the chords at the end.
I was lucky enough to grow up the youngest in a house where everyone liked different music. I learned to appreciate all types from big band/swing to country to metal! Metal is my go to, but I love it all.

Thanks! Just watched your Sold Out reaction. You talked about his scream and how great he is at metal. Man you should listen to the whole mockingbird and The Crow album, the scream on Radio Song is insane! It’s full of f-bombs though! I don’t listen to metal at all, but I listen to Hardy and love it! Jeremy McKinnon from A Day To Remember is featured on it. I think we’ve probably already shared, but the first half of the album is country and the second is rock. As a whole I think it’s a masterpiece and his concept for it is genius.

Depends on where you're at in Utah but the f150's could be work trucks, lotta oilfield out in Utah. The oilfield typically favors 3/4 tons or f250s but it's not unheard of for their roustabout crews to use half tons
