Reddit lucio, e girl mercy, or dps zen are the strongest characters and just doesn't feel fun to play every game. I was wanting to play tank or dps and I always have support as my first choice in the OG game. So doesn't look like this will be a good time for supports unless major changes come

@Arnex -_- brig's rally now only gives "over health" instead of temporary armor so it doesn't even reduce damage anymore. People's complaint about not being able to kill a brig quickly made her useless now, her kit has only ever been stripped and its so upsetting to see
theres no extra tank to peel and damage characters move faster so its just not a good place for supports right now and they're probably not gonna change them. The health regen Passive is so counter intuitive given that they wanted to add more skill to overwatch instead of relying on cc but how is healing after not taking damage for ONE second skillful? legit nothing they're doing with supports make any sense

honestly the support role is better and easier despite no changes other than auto heals on every support hero now that there's one less tank and as an ana player it's so much easier now that I can just purple nade the whole team now that I don't have to deal with double shield tanks and win fights easily let alone sleep dart everyone. Everyone has different opinions of course but it's even easier for me personally

I’m annoyed mercy didn’t get a different passive, all her passive does now is add 10 to the additional 10, it’s boring not to mention adding the new support passive is boring it takes away apart of mercy’s kit and made her more unique to play. Then brig’ It gets rid of cc in supports, it’s so hard to get away from characters such as sombra, sure they didn’t wanted to get rid of cc, but it leaves so little for any support cc.
Just a little correction, since mercy's passive increases the support passive by 50% (which was increased to 15hp/s from 10hp/s), so the total out of combat healing mercy receives is 22.5hp/s. Pretty neglieble change either way.
