For me, that was the selling point. I can live without the extra the Dji brings to the table. Unless it was my full-time job and I was a professional. Dji would be the first choice and my backup would be Autel. Since I'm just a recreational pilot. Autel is number one for me.

Autel is still in the consumer drone business because they continue to sell the same drones (Nano and LIte) from over three years. With firmware updates to keep the current. Just goes to show you that nothing really major has changed in drones over that time period. And for top heavy controllers, I like to use a neck strap, not only for safety, but also to help maintain balance. Great video Marcus, and thanks for sharing.

The funny part is when you put a message stating when you took the footage. I've started doing this as well. Some folks think I wake up every day and get footage lmao. No, I just get footage when I can. Then I edit and set a date for it to come out. Chances are it will be old to me and new to the world. That helps with feeling like I need to go fly. When I have a few videos ready to premiere. I've still not taken a 2025 first flight yet! Lol once i do it will come out late January. I already have three coming out.
Hey Marcus ! I still have my original Evo and love it. I thought about getting one of the Autel Mini's but man they are pricey ! Nice flight around the park and neighborhood but that circle around the fountain and watching the sun's reflection move off to the right on the water was very cool. Take care bud ! 👍
Good video, Great Drone! Thats quite a camera. Autel has always bee the top of the line, just behind DJI ecept for their sear and rescue drones that come with 4 cameras, You run 2 at a time, one being an infrared

Excellent video, Marcus. I have a question regarding airline travel with drones: Are drones permitted in carry-on baggage on commercial flights? I'm traveling to the UK on United Airlines and have concerns about this.
Yes I just came back from Dominican Republic 🇩🇴. The same case it came with from factory. The same case/bag i took on the plane. Batteries fully charged and all. Tampa and DR simply checked it and cleared me and off I went. Coming and going.
There's no questioning DJI drones fly better and have benchmark software, but it is the superb cameras where Autel excel.

It takes a lot of skill to fly from a moving boat. DJI drones have the best flight controls. Just take it slow and easy.

I have the same drone, that was a huge fail by Autel no HDR in Pro mode😩😩😩😩😩😩😩
That would be hard to do in Pro mode as your using your own camera settings. 🤷♂️

Yes, I've carried my drones on to flights many times. You just cannot put lithium batteries in your checked bag.
