Actually, I enjoy the radio show much better than TV. I always liked William Conrad. Also, the TV version seems to drag on...

Radio is a “hot” medium because it’s pure sound, minus the visual distraction.
That requires the listener to use more of their imagination. And sound is the most emotional of our senses. The closest we have to it now are podcasts and audiobooks.

I understand,some struggle with the imagination required for Radio. It's kinda a smart person's medium.
