This video was special to me, my 9yr old son who I lost last year was obsessed with busses and he would of loved to have seen them, he even stayed on a hotel bus in Cornwall and went on numerous busses and coaches over the years. Thanks for this one mate 🚌 👼💛
@@ImStokze Yea soon as I seen the first bus I thought oh my dear little Frazer would of loved them 🥹 busses where everything to him, big love bro keep doing what your doing 🙌🏼❤️
So sorry to hear that bro I couldn't imagine 😔🕊I am also a bus lover and the old English busses had style oozing frm them, and now they look not very nice compared I just adore the old stuff, great video stokes 👍🏻
Some of these old buses were absolutely stunning. I used to go to school on a double decker, like some of these, so this video brought back some great memories. The old coach which had been converted to living accommodation was the highlight for me. That one should be restored and lived in again. It would be perfect for a glamping coach. Such a shame it is just sitting there going to waste.
The blue and cream coach was originally green with a 3770cc engine and was first registered on 27th March 1948 and is still in use today the tax runs out on the 1st July 2024 👍
WOW! What a set of beautiful motors! Your absolutely spot on Bro, back then they were made with so much passion, style and flamboyance, you could feel the coachbuilders feelings through the designs and yes, attention to detail was second to non. The blue motorhome conversion is epic, definitely would have cost big money. It looks like it was having gearbox and engine issues, I could see engine parts on the side, plus the gear lever was missing just the gaiter remained. Really hope that it is put back on the road and the rot stops. I couldnt understand why those wooden frames were dumped on the floor, left to rot and yes as you said, a quick way to be destroyed. My memories of travelling in an old coach was during a school trip around Europe, 2 weeks out there, coach had no toilet...... so many stops along the way to places were organised. That coach sadly didnt look as nice as these ones, but I remember the colour and smell very much! Great find Bro, keep an eye on this lot, hopefully more will be done to the rough looking ones. I think the rebuilds take time, especially if they have to physically make parts, pretty sure that new bus skins arent on the shelves. Fingers crossed! Keep them coming Bro :)
Super interesting buses, the classic, English design. One more beautiful than the other. Many years ago I was allowed to board supposed English buses at the Lisbon Bus and Train Depot Museum. There are plenty in great condition (from the 40's to the 60's). The old railways (Electrico) are also represented from every generation. Must visit when you get there. Great video! Thanks! Greetings Klaus from Düsseldorf
What a fabulous little explore! That blue coach is so lovely - beautiful colours and lines and probably very luxurious inside. As for the coach/house conversion - wow 🤩 ! Would be very interesting to hear the history. Would also be interesting to know if all the buses are being restored - not forgetting the fire engine! Love this era of buses and coaches. Wonder why the owner isn’t interested in showing you round? Maybe next time 🤞 Great video 👍👍
Thats some sweet looking classics. Don't get it either these things should be in a museum at least some of them.😢shocking left to rot. All big UP to you my good man ur a legend these vids are the best. These buses or coaches look so iconic
I grew up in the late 70s with a friend who's parents owned a coach yard. They had loads of amazing old late 50s and early 60s coaches just like these that were chartered for local miners and we tagged along on occasions. Once past what was deemed useful service they were backed up into an overgrown area behind the main yard and just left for spares or just to rot. Probably about 6 at any one time and long since cut up for scrap. I still remember the unique old bus smell but also the woeful performance where they nearly stopped between each monumentally crashy gear change.
What a fantastic video of the vintage Buses and Fire Engines. It reminded me of my late Father who loved old busues and even worked for Ribble Buses before it was taken over by Stagecoach. Oh what happy memories.
Absolutely a great video totally agree with you about the way they are made in the old days have character, today's buses are throne together with no passion whatsoever really enjoyed the video
Sweet little explore and so true Brother, modern day vehicles lack design and character. Truly the older vehicles were built to last. Always appreciate you sharing these moments with us 🤠🌲🍃
Old busses where built good back on the day good to see some in good condition My big brother loves old busses plus he's bus driver lol Nice wee video today stu
Why would I... as a loyal fan of this page take any stupid risks that could cause trouble for the guy who does a very good job documenting im not the kind of person who's going to trespass Jesus! And I live down in Cornwall lol
Nice entertainment Stu, you never fail to satisfy. I was thinking maybe this is like a clubhouse for enthusiasts of old commercial vehicles where they can store their projects. None look like they are road registered and the old half round structures look to be from circa WWII. Some collectors are very protective of their items and won't let strangers look at them, just thinking!
@@DA71291 ok was wrong wat he did but shouldn't you have gates to stop people just walking in to the yard? And he has not have the address away the police might not doing anything about it you need to check the law now on trespass as it's different now how do you think other explores get away with it
Hey Stu, as a retired coach driver here in the U.S I can tell you that it actually takes air pressure to keep the doors closes on those coaches, once the air leaked down on them the doors would automatically open up a bit. The coaches here in the states have a key lock mechanism and you could dump the air pressure then lock the door, like the blue conversion coach that was there. Nothing is designed like in the 50’s & 60’s. Anyhow thanks for another cool video.😊
Please leave all the rude comments here, i've been called several different nice names because of this video, and i'm so unsure to as why, as you can clearly see i'm actually helping by closing doors and talking very nice about these busses, So to be called what i have been called isn't quite right, Names to mention...Vile, Disgusting, Lowlife, A thief, Etc... Enjoyed this, about 15 minutes seems a great compromise. I would also say in these days of music copyright on UA-cam and lots of it all sounding the same I love your intro music, it rocks! Keep up the good work please.
I owned an old bus some years ago (1967 AEC Reliance), I spent hours trying to get it sorted, a cowboy with a tow truck managed to crash it down an embankment, then while being appraised for the damage it caught fire and burned to the ground 😢
Hardly a "forgotten coach yard" when it's a working business. And the fact you've been turned away during business hours then come back after hours to sneak around is a piss take. No respect for the owner of those vehicles and potentially put his property in danger of being stolen. So disrespectful. You may love them and be a positive part of this community but out right ignoring his wishes and doing what you want has shown how little you actually care 👌
They cost a lot ov wonga and time to get like that, camper probably in the queue, just an old gardener engine maybe 20k, early one's might be petrol !!! Wouldn't want to fill them up too often, might be rented out for filming, camper maybe boss's toy, fire engines motors probably worth more than whole thing, other parts compatible with the coaches, fuknoze, would be a pain in the arse in Tesco's carpark,I converted a massive Renault horsebox for an 8 person band(kidnap Alice)all out of wot came out & shit from around the yard, never drove it though, didn't get paid much,& when she came to collect it, wouldn't start, coz I'd syfoned all the fuel out for my boat(fuel guage didn't work)& drank all her festival stash of wine, twice !!! Pay peanuts to drunk monkey's!!!!! 😂🎉

@davewilton so sorry to hear of your loss my friend ♥️ great video absolutely gorgeous buses
❤
This was a brilliant watch, loved it 👏 🙏❤️
The third bus is mint 😮
I can't get over the sweeping lines of those old coaches .
Really beautiful old automotive history that fully deserved to be saved
My understanding is that you don`t need a PCV licence if the bus/coach has no fare paying passengers on board and no more than eight passengers.
Ah okay then thats something i didn't know, Thanks for that chap
The way they have these classic buses is magnificent.I like the old fire engine 🚒 yea🙌😎👍
A really enjoyable & interesting video there now well done 👍👍
