Beach Sunset Timelapse, Coronado - San Diego

This Coronado Beach Sunset Timelapse was shot just behind the famed Hotel del Coronado, which was built in 1888, and was featured in the 1959 movie "Some Like it Hot," starring Marilyn Monroe and Tony Curtis. For decades, the historic hotel in San Diego County has played host to celebrities and presidents, such as Babe Ruth, Willie Mays, Muhammed Ali, Brad Pitt, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Lyndon Johnson, Gerald Ford, to name a few.
It's located a 15 minute water taxi ride from the Gaslamp District of San Diego. A bridge also connects San Diego to Coronado Island, but a water taxi is far funner than driving or hailing a land taxi.
