Decot HyWyd and Ranger are the only shooting glasses I would ever use. I fog up EVERY wrap-around style glasses I’ve ever put on. And that anti fog crap has never worked for me as advertised either. My glasses MUST allow air flow between the glass and my eye to prevent fogging.
Watched this video last night and ordered a set of Evolution Connect this morning. Actually spoke to David himself which was great. Just about to start shooting again after a long time. So been watching a lot of TSC great advice tips etc actually bought a mint condition 2nd hand Bettinsoli last week based on watching a listening to all the reviews 👍
Evolution make a "prescription" set, which I have. Your optician fits prescription lenses to the insert "specs" supplied and the colour lenses in the set clip over the top.
Have been using Bertoni AF899 for more than a year for clay shooting, confortable and not expensive. They have an adapter for prescription lenses also.
Interested on a video for "mid range price" glasses. From what I see where I'm from (Canada), the contenders would be Castellani, Xsight 2RX and RE Ranger. They all iffer a great variety of lenses. Although, it's more complicated with RE Ranger when you have a prescription lenses.
What about Pilla? I had no choice but to buy pilla's because I'm red green colour blind and pilla are the only company that make then for red green colour blindness, so I had no choice.
I’d stick with pilla, way more lense options, nicer quality, stronger lenses, better clarity and resell value. Just depends how much shooting you want to do.
You forgot to mention the magnex have an adjustable nose piece which comes very handy if you have a big face like me. They are superb quality glasses overall and very comfortable. I highly reccomend them!!
I use the evolution shooting glasses. But I prefer to buy them separately so I can have two sets of ear / side peaces. As they are so light I wear one and have the second set on the top of my head, (as they grip well and stay put) If light changes I am ready to switch lenses in a jiffy, with the minimum of distraction, in two seconds flat, I can pull the second set down.
You didn't go into much detail as to why there's various colours of lense. Is it just personal preference or are some better for different daylight etc?
Save your money, just stick a blob of Blue Tack under the bridge to raise your prescription glasses so when you put the comb to your cheek you are looking through the centre of the lens and not the top edge of the frame. Your Welcome 🙂
Xsight do a prescription insert for their range of glasses which I am now using and they are fantastic and a third of the price of Pilla and I was recommended them by Ed Lyons who is a top eye specialist who shoots
I note that you ware optical glasses. The problem then is that if you need optical lenses the price virtually doubles. Viewers should be made aware that if you have to have lenses they will be paying considerably more than the prices you’re quoting. I know because the optical lenses for my Shooting Glasses were £100.00 more than the standard lenses Hence I only have ‘Clear’ and ‘Rose’ lenses as I can’t afford any more.
I ordered a pair of Evolution and extra lenses for my son last Christmas from their website. The have an option for shipping to the US. Only took a week or two to receive. This looks like an excellent deal from TSC.
the email is contactus@theshootingchannel.co.uk or you can also call us up on 01844 238 308 from 9am to 5pm today they are going quick so call today to place your order. Thanks TSC Team.
This video is just evidence that your reviews are driven by sponsorships and therefore extremely biased. Pilla are the market leaders in this area, so there’s no reason why they shouldn’t feature as a top-end option with the Castellani.

RE Ranger Edge glasses are superb. I bought a set with 3 lenses and case off Ebay for £60! Only 12 months old, so hardly used. Brilliant.
What about XSight glasses? The 2RX model is unbeatable in my opinion for mix of clarity, quality, comfort, lens tech, lens colour and value for money
Just bought the five lens set, very impressed
I’ve been using xsight for a few years. And would strongly recommend them.

What about those of us that need to wear prescription glasses for shooting? No one ever seems to deal with overglasses.
Have a look at XSight shooting glasses they do inserts for prescription lenses they are great
I have pila glasses and they do have the facility to put prescription glasses inside.
I had the same issue so got fed of looking and bought a pair of Carl Zeiss medium purple tint glasses, they are great glasses.
Hi mate i use "shoot off" magnetics , they have lennes that are magnet to the frame with a fixed prescription back lense.. they work great

You sold me a set of Evolution glasses a couple of years ago and they are still too good to take you up on this great offer.
I have the magnetic set and love them. Fastest way to change lenses

What about prescription lenses?
Go for pilla, they a a provision for them on the inside of the glasses.

They obviously don't stock them at the Oxford gun company....thats where the connection lies.
$1000+ / £1000+ very expensive though they have Carl Zeiss lenses

His waistcoat has Castellani featured on it, for starters

How can your presentation be taken seriously if you do not even mention Pilla which is universally regarded as the top end market leader?
I doubt that the hat you are wearing would give you much protection. A bump hat would be better. I would prefer a hat that would keep my head dry.
Castleanni 3 set is £382
Yes this is right the price does change depending on what you want. Thanks TSC Team.
No no😂
Way over priced.
I have some razor vented polycarbonate they are clearer `than a lot of expensive ones they are great never mist up to.
When I see “ you need” I don’t watch
So your not interested in your own personal safety 🤯
You don't NEED to check before you cross a road, but it would be very silly id you didn't.
Can you do a review on Xsight shooting glasses please as would like your view on them
They have a you-tube channel, also Ed Lyons the sports eyewear specialist reviews and really rates them 😉
@@smitbar11 yes he recommended them and I got a 20% discount for Black Friday and I can’t fault the glasses and the great customer service from them 👍
