each school has a preference on HOW the move is done also. the conditions you're in and the fighter cause the combatant to adjust to the situation. example entre de maos "enter the hands" you have to close the gap for an attack or escape when the opportunity or situation presents itself. if the adjustment works consistently, it's made official as the move for that school, as well as core moves for the artform itself.
@dekipantelija He's just calling it negativa because it is a form of negativa... some moves are just improvised with the names. Also, this is a BANGUELA sequence. That "negativa" is not a normal negativa how ever he's just giving you something to add that looks pretty.. nothing more. You could do a normal negativa instead. If you need tips you can message me personally I teach capoeira.
That's a very interesting sequence :D Bu i agree with others about your negativa; it's kinda risky if the onpoent's nasty! :S I was thinking about doing a bacia lateral followed by a martello no chao (from the ground) instead of the role at the end, What do you think?
@Blanka2471 ok thanks for the explanations :) never had banguela sequences yet by my mestre, shame :( BTW I never meant that it was made wrong, sorry if it was misunderstood :$ P.S. Thanks for the personnal message offer :D
@MrPredatorix In the accent of Recife, where he is from, their "T" never becomes "ch" in pronunciation. I know a guy that's from there and he speaks the same way.

its to dodge an attack (negate = to dodge) but if you are close enough it can also be used as a sweeping kick.
@username0913 it's a variation. few moves has same name, as you can do macaco with both legs or separated - its still macaco. :)
His voice is FUCKING Awesome!!!

A luto é brasileira os gringos que tem que falar portugues e nao os brasileiros falar em ingles. Temos que valorizar mais a nossa cultura.
That's a weird move that their group calls "negativa"... but I love it! Very cool.
