Hi Kim, I have a slightly more complicated task for checkouts. I like free previews, but the upsell buttons in the cart go to the individual course checkout. I want it to go to a bundle checkout. Is there any way that you know of to redirect a checkout page in thinkific to a different page? There's no way to actually change the link on the button itself. Thanks, Jeff
Hey Jeff, without seeing what you’re explaining it’s a little challenging to answer. I never recommend using free preview lessons as they generally don’t convert as well as a small mini course or intro course, But if you’re going to use free preview lessons that it automatically links to the checkout for the course of the free preview lessons are in. You may be able to get around this by hiring a developer but then you’re into theme code and I wouldn’t suggest that either. Hope that helps. dont suppose you have any idea how to have the checkout done on the sales page and the enrolments automatically record and the customer gets access etc etc
Do you mean have the check out on the sales page itself? You can’t embed Thinkific’s check out on a sales page, However you may be able to embed a Samcart or Thrivecart check out on a web page.
@@OnlineCourseExpert So I have an external sales page, I want customers to be able to buy on that page (use my stripe checkout) and have them enrolled automatically. Hope that makes sense
@@ashman123456789 you would need to embed a checkout/cart on the sales page then. Can't do that with Thinkific but as I mentioned you may be able to embed a different checkout on the page.
Hi, the first part worked perfectly - I copied the code, put it in the code associated with the "SIGN UP" button on my Squarespace website, tried it out in an incognito window, and went right to the checkout. TWO QUESTIONS: ONE: I recently switched from Thrivecart to Thinkific payments which I find much simpler. however, on Thrivecart, there was a place right at the checkout to put in an FAQ and Testimonials. There doesn't appear to be any place to add text in the Thinkific checkout. Is that correct? TWO: I have two courses. I've created signup buttons for both courses on my website. Now I just want to understand the extra page code you tell us to do at the end. Is this correct? Say a student purchases our brain training course. When they go to the dashboard and click on the course card for that course, it takes them right to the course. No problem. However, if they haven't purchased the sleep course, and are at the dashboard and click that course card, it will take them to a thinkific page which I haven't developed yet. That's why I need to add the code so it takes them to our website sales page. is that correct?

@@OnlineCourseExpert Hi Kim: Thanks so much for taking time to respond - I can only guess at how astonishingly busy you are! As it turned out, somehow in the midst of a frenzied attempt to figure all this out, it suddenly became clear. In any case, thanks so much for your videos - they're VERY helpful and I will definitely recommend them to other Thinkific folks.

Super helpful, thank you so much
Great! 🥰
I’m just now beginning planning and this is one of the BIG questions I had. Thank you!
That last bit about the course linking back to my own WP site / landing page was super helpful. Easy to miss it! Thank you so much!
Definitely! Something I see missed 99% of the time. 😉
Thanks for the great video. The code doesn't work for me. I can only change the footer code and it breaks the page. Any workarounds?
Brilliant. Exactly what I needed.
very good!
What screen recording software did you use

What page builder are you using?
I use both my Wordpress website and leadpages for my landing pages.
What if I have a monthly price and an annual price for my membership? Is there a way to do this and only have 1 button?
No unfortunately not because each of those would be a different price in your course, so would require two different check out endpoints.
It's not working for me either>
