    Understand , Q. I hear a 'Voooooooooo' noise when you enter the iron into the core , Why this noise produced ?

      That noise is vibration of the core due to the 60 hz frequency of the ac current

      Guitar Guy well it is the property of a material which allows magnetic field line to pass through them... More the permeability more is the lines of magnetic field passing... One simple example.. Suppose there is a tank full of water and the walls of the tank is like sompe pores on them.. There is one big hole.. So the bigger hole posses more (permeability like character) than the small pores as more water will flow through it. 😍
