He called it a "cling," so I'm guessing it's a vinyl, rather than a sticker. You'll just remove it once you're a few months in and don't need reminders anymore, but I can see how it would be a lot easier for new beginners than switching back and forth between little diagrams and a chord chart on a phone screen
I'd really like to know how to play through glass by stone sour but I dont know the chords and where to put my fingers if you help me Itd be highly appreciated
Just getting started from absolute scratch. I sing but I got a guitar as a birthday present this year and it’s just been sitting in the case/bag. I always said I wanted to tie an instrument to my vocals either the keys or guitar….
It takes a lot of time. It is the most rewarding experience ever. Got my guitar a couple years ago and let it sit until about a year ago when I got my own house and could start practicing. It was brutallll for the first little while but now I am at the point where I can learn just about any song and can jam with a backing track. It is so awesome, I am now beginning to dive into the world of music theory which is a struggle lol. Start practicing!
“Hawaiian Harmonics Chord Cling” sounds a hell of a lot fancier than “ I glued the basic Open chords / CAGED system print out on the side of my guitar..”
So I’m very new and I can’t seem to find any tips on this how do you strum I understand the finger stuff but I cannot and I’m currently trying to strum but I just don’t get it. I miss strings am I supposed to hit all the strings, how do I hold my pick? I can’t find this stuff anywhere
Sweet child of mine is DCGD gotta take that extra D and don’t forget to strum that. Pick up fingers relay them on fret board & strum rhythmic pattern it’s quite fun! But don’t forget it’s a fast song, start in D and ends in D so when the lyrics begin you should be in the D chord. These aren’t beginners songs by the way. The joker? R u joking? lol 😅 not everyone has a cheat sheet on their axes, it’d be cool. Mines in my “book” of songs that I know how to play AFTER learning & memorizing my chords. NO BETTER FEELING THAN NOT HAVING TO LOOK ALL OVER THE PLACE FOR WHERE TO PUT YOUR FINGERS, AND THEN keeping up with the timing of the song and seeing the songs chord progression I would advise to LEARN your chords. If you’re a newbie Lauren Bateman has a PHENOMENAL free course and can teach ALL the chords to you using only 2 fingers for those a little older? Or maybe you just wanna play but don’t care about learning the chords in a traditional setting. She’s the bees knees. This kids kind for trying.. but these are FAR from beginner songs. More like intermediate songs. I’m just being honest. I don’t want a beginner to see how easy he’s making this look? & expect it to be like guitar hero. It’s not. That boy PRACTICED before he did this, and anyone who has a guitar in their lap needs to PRACTICE!! Period. There is no cutting corners when learning to play guitar. You either learn it. Make it muscle memory orrr your just another person with a guitar that doesn’t play. 😅
Look up the strumming patterns to the song you wanna play, without playing the chords first. Just keep the frets muted with one hand and keep practising the rhythm with your strumming hand, then apply both when you're confident you've got the rhythm down!

For a beginner, I wouldn’t recommend playing sweet child o mine, I say this as a person who’s been playing both kinds of guitars for a long time. The thing about sweet child o mine that makes it hard for beginners is the fact that there are no chords, just move your fingers to the right place. Took me like a day to learn but I had more experience.
The commercial always made me so annoyed of slash playing that ass simple riff and the other guitar players trying out for the band were blown away and gave up
It’s not sarcasm, these are easy chord progressions but if you are just starting out then you need to practice memorizing chords and then transitioning between them at a faster speed
Yes, those are beginner riffs. It get exponentially for complex from there, but that’s the fun. Keep playing friend! The Spirit of Rock and Roll will guide the way!

Yeah only 2 chords
Mollys Lips is way better. Literally only two chords repeated over and over.
Atleast only 2 chords before the chorus
Actual songs!! Love it, great beginner songs❤
