I would hope a new car is reliable. I bought a certain Japanese manufacturers top offering in 2016 for my wife. It went back immediately to the dealer for oil leaks with less than 800 miles on the odometer, followed by transmission problems, and electrical glitches, including 2 trips to the dealer in the last month. The car currently has 20,000-ish miles and I am underwhelmed. BMW has a track record for costly repairs and I would only purchase a German manufactured car with a full warranty. There seems to be very few upper end manufacturers anywhere on Earth capable of keeping their top offerings reliable due to electrical/electronic glitches. I buy them, but it's annoying.

Not everything. I am in awe of this car but every M5 should ALWAYS have a manual transmission option. Period.

Dimitri Smith E92 M3 is my favorite and theres literally nothing in that car that looks cheap.
This is probably the least appealing M5 in existence....so much unnecessary and wasteful technology and somehow the car is no more enjoyable to drive

BMW M5 competition is better then the BMW M8 competition. They have the same weight, power, suspension, torque, and gearbox. So in terms of speed they are the same the M5 cp being the fastest 4 door. However, the M5 is more luxurious it has more space inside. Its also offered with massage seats and screens in the back unlike the M8.

Gesture is a great example of technology making something more difficult. Whats easier to turn the volume, rotating a knob with your fingers or waving your hand like you're having a siezure.

Except it's not a great feature, it's just a gimmick. I remember when everybody hyped facial recognition to unlock mobile devices, but then they immediately went back to using their fingerprints. Why? Because it's just an *easier* alternative.

I got drive this thing on the track at BMW M Driver's School last week. Doug ain't joking. It's a missile, and can be thrashed around the corners. Amazing machine.

Come across this dudes videos and got to say they very good! Goes through a lot of detail gives credit to owners and gives a real sense of the car without being there which in turns makes you want to but every car! But always found it weird how usa say sedan but uk we don't any way cool videos

Car reviews use to be more about the actual car, now the whole technology is taking up the majority of car reviews! Crazy to see what car reviews will be like in 10 years

Alphonsus Ho well, there’s still options like Car and Driver or Chris Harris reviews where they go more into the performance; people like Saabkyle is more into a full review, from the key to the infotainment and even the exhaust note; channels like C-Net are way more focused on tech; and our boy Doug is more into the “particularities” on every car.
I like all the content on each UA-cam channel, I think they complement each other.
Tesla is the fastest car in the world by far. Tesla powers major cities. Tesla powers the world. Tesla powers the Moon. Tesla is president of the world. (Maybe not the world, but Guam 10/10)
I don't really mind, just making an observation! I love Doug, also watch other youtubers like Shmee, Redline, and Car Wow.
I really miss roadkill though, MotorTrend has the best car reviews IMO. DriveTribe just stopped, so all we have left is CH and Doug, maybe Jay Leno. There really isn't that many high quality car channels anymore. All those European reviewers are so freaking boring, no host chemistry outside of the channels I mentioned. I miss MT.

All (european) cars that i know of have this parking light feature, usually activated by leaving the indicator to the sight you want the light to be when parked.
