      Look for a man or woman that is open and honest at all times. Someone that is willing to share their heart with you on a totally different level. Someone that invests! Not saying they have to spill it all on the first date...that might get weird! Lol anyways, hope this was helpful as it has helped me in so many ways in my relationship with my boyfriend. 😄

      badar faran Hi. Look, I'm not going to beat around the bush, I'm just gonna tell ya straight, that's just who I am. Do I know if this is for sure the answer, no, but most likely it's close. ...the young lady you proposed to, who is a Christian, which I am a Christian too so... she was probably just telling she'd think about it the first time because she has a kind heart and she really didn't want to break your's, but the fact is you're Muslim. We don't have anything against you, we just don't believe in the same things. And that's why she declined your proposal. If you're dead set on your religion then, there's nothing you can do, my advice to you would be to find a good young lady in your "circle." But, if you're real desire is to pursue THIS young lady then, my advice to you is to give her a real chance, actually get to know her, go to church with her- I promise you won't regret it, you won't hate it, etc. And, if your family disagrees with your choices then, I'm sorry, but that's on them, do not put their burden on yourself. Follow what you know is right. And everything WILL work out. You will be protected. You will be alright. But no matter what your choice ends up being, our Heavenly Father DOES love you, He's never stopped loving you, and He never will stop loving you.

    But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." 1Samuel 16:7

      There isn't only physical attraction.
      E.g. I noticed sth on him and I really really like it and this made him attractive. Maybe how he serves, how he treats people who are in need of help, how he prays/worships/etc etc. There is a lot of it.
      If he's physically attractive too, then this could be either a bonus (in marriage) or a disadvantage (until marriage, ya know resisting and stuff)
      Only my opinion, just sharing

    Morgan brought up a good point! When I was in Christian college, some guys would talk about God a whole lot, but it seemed like it was just a front they put on. I was careful around people like that who walk and talk with false humility. Then there are people who talk about God a lot bc they really do have a genuine love for God. People think I talk about God too much 😃 maybe you could do a video on that topic sometime!? ☺

    I agree with everything you guys said! For me, it also has a lot to do with sense of humor. I laugh a lot and I just find it hard to connect with a guy if he doesn't have that same sense of humor as me. I can also be pretty silly sometimes so I want a guy that knows how to be silly but also when to be serious.

    I think most girls like myself want a guy who is sweet, strong, romantic and who knows how to listen yet be firm in his faith and protection of her.. If that makes sense. I guess I sort of like guys who are A bit dominant and know what they want in the relationship. Not everyone will agree but for me that is Always a huge turn on :))

    Love this! I would just say someone that is respectful and patient towards others, especially his family.. Someone you can picture being a good father, and spiritual leader.. Someone who is genuine about his faith and actually lives it out.. Personality and character outweighs attraction, but those are just my thoughts! I went to a bible college and many guys put on a front, so I have learned actions speak louder than words.

    Hey y’all! I just found your channel and have been literally binge watching so many of your videos, I love them so so much! Morgan, I feel like I relate to you a lot, being almost the “dark horse” in my more conservative family, and it’s honestly so awesome to see someone with such a passion and drive for the Lord and faith that is still so relatable to my own walk and convictions. But seriously y’all are so encouraging and challenging and I am so excited that i found your channel! Quick question, could y’all maybe do a video on what a good age would be to start dating or starting a relationship? Thanks and God bless y’all!!!

    Well I have a list but things I will not be ok with are doesn't believe in God, doesn't think marriage is what he wants, doesn't get to know me without pressure for sex. Because no thx next. And top qualitities are man of God. Loves and spends time with his family. Honesty and funny also needs to have a job. Be financially responsible. Because we don't live in caves no more and I want a nice warm place to sleep lol

    "A wild stallion." #crying 😂 Love that burgundy colour shirt, Paul! Oh how God works: I was actually having a phone chat with two good friends today about guys and what things should be potential yellow flags in a relationship etc. One of them is married with three young kids and the other is around my age so it was nice getting the different perspectives and advice especially from the one who is married. They were mainly counselling me with things I was going through and the physical attraction bit came up and my one friend (the married one haha) was saying how in the Christian community, we tend to put a bit too much emphasis on the solid character bit and ignore the physical attraction side. Like yes, you should be physically attracted to the person you're interested in, it's not wrong! haha One other thing I would add is humility. Arrogance can sometimes be a major issue on a guy's part (another thing that came up in our conversation haha) and can be overlooked based on other positives in his character but if it's an overwhelming pattern in his life that he doesn't feel the need to work on, I'd say that could be a no-go just 'cause arrogance can lead to other sins. Loved all the great advice from you guys! Love you guys and keep shining

    • @PaulandMorgan
      @PaulandMorgan  6 років тому

      Tabby RH Mmmm yes, I like how you said arrogance can lead to other sins. And I sign of arrogance is a guy who is not willing to listen. Thanks for adding your thoughts, Tabby. So good!

    I know I’m not very physically attractive. But if it’s God’s will for me to meet a woman that does think I’m attractive then that would be such a big surprise. I just that God will help me find a woman that’s right for me. It’s extremely hard to do, especially now. But I’m not going to give up.

    A man that can lead His home as God has ordained.
    A man who fears God with all his heart.
    A man willing to go where God leads him too.
    A man concerned and willing to care and provide for the spiritual and fiscal needs of his wife and children.
    A man who is like Joshua, Daniel, David, Hananiah,
    Mishael, Azariah, John and so many other Biblical godly men who were not ashamed to preach the truth of God's Word.

    "I dated a few guys that were solid, Christian guys. But that's all they were, solid, Christian guys."
    Wow! Sounds kind of shallow without coming off that way because the implication is they were ugly on the outside. I guess that ignores the fact that some of the most attractive people on the outside tend to have ugly hearts. Know why I was single in high school? If you guessed that it was due to Christian girls liking everything about me but being dashingly handsome, you are correct. Shallowness does exist within the church.

    • @zareth-shahar
      @zareth-shahar 5 років тому

      I know what you're saying, but, in her defense, if you know someone and don't find them physically attractive, you're probably not going to think of them in a romantic sense, and that is completely fine and normal actually. On the other hand, many times (I've seen and experienced it) someone becomes more physically attractive the more you get to know them, and also the opposite is true: someone can become less attractive the more you get to know them.
      The sociodynamics of high school and adult life really can't be compared. Your appearance rarely gets you handed anything in adult life. Even models have to have some level of professionalism and personality. I think those who depend on their appearance for social status or reputation throughout their teenage years actually don't develop social skills and character as much as those who can't or don't depend on their appearance. Parenting also has quite a bit to do with it.
      Just my opinion, and I was in the same boat as you in high school.
