I could listen to Don Peake tell stories for days.. He's a Phenomenal player !!!
This is so inspiring to watch. What an incredible musician and still sharp as a knife. Hats off to Don Peake 🎩👏
What a wonderful interview with Don Peake! Outstanding.
WOW! What a great interview! Don's obviously a sweet guy and a true gentleman. Thanks for the great interview Norm❣️
The opening chord of "You Lost That Loving Feeling" is a Barry Mann "trademark."
I would love to see more DAW recordings recorded as if they were analog.
I never realized how similar "Let It be Me" and "I'll Be There" are to each other.
James Jamerson was supposedly in the audience at Motown 25; after that, he was said to have gone into deeper descent.
Ray Parker Jr. also played on most of the sessions for Holland-Dozier-Hollands labels, Invictus and Hot Wax.
I love the wrecking crew!! Thank you for sharing this podcast!!👍👍👍👍
Thnx Norm and Jen in there. Such talent. Thnx Norm for putting this together. The Archive of Music Norm. I am watching and realise my jaw has dropped. Just love this and to hear the inside stories and the vid is still rolling and ooooh
Man what a great show, a wonderful history and musical lesson journey. This show was extremely enjoyable. Don Peake is a first class musician and gentleman with a wealth of knowledge. Fantastic show Norm. P.S. Please be kind to Edibles At Night, even though you are picking on them about their name, you can tell it stings a little. Just trying to show love and make the world a better place. Thank you for the wonderful videos, employees, and guest that you have on the air. It is a real treat and is so much better than regular television shows. Thank you and GOD bless you.
Wow Norm just when I think you have reached the 'Peak' you pull out the stops and raised the bar! I loved the podcast and got the app and received an education once again about the 'Wrecking Crew!!!!' Thank you all!
GREAT INTERVIEW! The music history of my youth, man those were some wonderful tunes and all done with REAL musicians on black vinyl it was a great time to be alive. Thank you Don for all of the great entertainment you gave us.
I know Don and not only is he a Great Guitarist but he is also an Excellent Person!!!
Absolutely great interview, the look of joy on Nick's face at the end was fantastic. It was great to watch, I can't imagine what it would be like to play with someone like Don Peak!
Simply awesome! what a treat. thank you so much👍
Absolutely Brilliant and enlightening.

This is a beautiful moment in time thank goodness it’s recorded 🙏 long live 🙏 Don Peake thanks Norm 👍🏻❤️🎸
Pure gold. Fantastic.
Thank you thank you thank you so very much born in 64 but I think I heard every song this cat has been on.
Love it.
Thanks Norm
Can't believe how quickly 50 minutes went ! Great viewing.
I've met Don twice, in 2000 and 2004, and never knew that he was a member of the Wrecking Crew...great musician and an unbelievably great man. I met him at a convention for an 80s TV show that he wrote music for (after the 1st 12 episodes)
Great video and was great memory for me hearing Don mention Dr. Albert Harris was a great arranger, composer, and music educator.
Don peake a great Friend and
Person ...thank you for Everything Don..
What a treat! Thank You Don.
I will always remember him as my band leader for my high school music program!
Hats off to Norm/Don/Nick, was sort of interested and just became instantly glued.
Grew up as the youngest of 6 and just about ALL of this music was being played in my house at one time or another every weekend.
I still have many of these records, no doubt like so many, in my loft (attic).
Wow Thank you , Norm Donand Nick very interesting. brought back a lot of memories.
The wrecking crew documentary is awesome....
Don Peake and Tim Pierce should start a band. I think it WAS Jim Jamerson's bass amp for L.A. History Detectives.
All ten of my thumbs are up for this one!
This was just a privilege to watch and hear. I can only say thanks to Norm, and even more importantly, thanks to the legendary Don Peake for this show. You can literally feel the weight of history as they talk through Don's career. Humbled and grateful. 🔥🔥🔥👍👍👍🎸🎸🎸❤❤❤
Thanks Don you are a master
Very educational Thanks
Don is a truly great : Musician, Writer, Arranger, Producer... and, oh yeah, Guitarist. Thank you for this Norm & Jen.

Awesome group of musicians. The documentary was pretty interesting.
Check out PP Arnold’s “Turning Point” album on UA-cam. Apparently it has Clapton and some of the Delaney and Bonnie and Friends crew. It’s a cool album you probably haven’t heard before.
