Thanks for the video. I have the TB501Pro coming in. Would you have any concern going with the 8TB drive over 4TB? Ill be using it with a TB5 Mac Mini. Seems like you were getting great speeds even on the 8TB drive. I was between the WD and Samsung and 4TB vs 8TB. Didn't know if there was going to be much of a difference outside of price. With the enclosure being over $200 and me not planning on moving it off my desk too often, I kind of feel like the 8TB is worth spending up as long as there isnt any major drawback.
"USB4 v2" is a specification for an 80Gb/s interface. Thunderbolt interface specs cover more than just bandwidth for data transfer, such as power delivery.

I haven’t found a drawback. Maybe if it gets full?
did you get the upgraded enclosure yet? I'm curious about the differences.
Came today. Check the next video on Sunday.

Thanks for the correction! I’m still learning all the specs. Thunderbolt is new to me.
You have to check the ACASIS table for compatible SSD sticks.
They have a Sabrent Rocket on there, but it must be a Gen4.
