Mason jars! I have successfully aged Virginia pipe tobaccos in mason jars for years. If tobacco can age for 20 years I see no reason why weed can’t be preserved for a year or two. Store your jars in a cool dark place that doesn’t have any fluctuations in temperature.

Very expensive glass if you have multiple strains or quantity of product. Standard mason jars with black duct tape on the outside and kept in a dark cool place is in reality just fine. Keep the airspace in the jar as small as possible.
Or you know, just keep your jars in a damn cabinet, box, closet, what-have-you. I don't know anyone who leaves their jars in the sunlight...
I do know one person who does that and just shrugs his shoulders when I tell him to keep his bud in the dark. Another guy I know keeps his bud in half full jars 🤷♂️. And these are 30 year smokers.

I have 2 as well, small and large and even found a couple of original unused, hand-typed cannabis labels from pharmacies on Ebay when the evil cannabis plant was actually legal as a medicine. "Take 1 tsp hourly." it says. Ok Doc...will do.

I actually find the simplicity of mason jars very attractive. I grew up canning fruits and vegetables, and remember pantries full of jars. So for me, there's a nostalgic value to the mason jars. Wide mouth, of course. Anything else almost feels "storebought." I especially like the 8 oz wide mouth as a serving/packing above jar. For light protection, I rubber coat them and also helps protect them, like safety glass. After coating, they're downright ugly, I'll admit, but very functional and could be decorated. Mason jars are definitely the classic.
The film canisters that Kodak black and white film came in (black with gray lid) were the best. The cool thing about film canisters was than you could cram an eighth of mexibuds into one and about exactly an eighth would fit.
The bad thing about nitrogen is that the moment you pop that top.that weed degrades like 10 times faster than had it not been nitrogen sealed

I have 22 half gallon and 6 quart size jars that i keep in a closet on the floor. No light. 68 degrees consistent. Works great. But the jars you guys showed im definitely wanting!!

My thoughts exactly mason jars are perfect. You can buy it at Walmart and it's inexpensive.
