With high airflow in mind, Deepcool did an excellent job with the CH560. I'm a big fan of that side panel design too! Having the mesh section extend above the PSU shroud into the main compartment enables the GPU to suck in more air, with minimal compromises on the viewing space. What's more, the CH560 comes equipped with three 140mm ARGB fans and a single 120mm ARGB for the exhaust. So, if you intend to build an air cooled setup like this, you really don't 'need' to install any additional fans.
With that noted, I added two extra fans to the PSU shroud. Whilst the functionality of these could be questionable, I like to think they are assisting with keeping the GPU cooler by moving air in the correct direction.
Let's address the Assassin IV! This air cooler is bold, stylish and incredibly good looking. The reverse fan design with the 140mm being enclosed has a very unique, clean look which I really like. Some reviews suggest it doesn't perform as good as the previous Assassin 3, however, the performance is still very good regardless, even with the i7 13700K. I'll take stronger aesthetics for the few degree temp hit!
When installing such a large CPU cooler, it's always important to check your clearances. I've always said that if anything doesn't work out during my videos I would show you. This was a perfect example! The VRM's on the ROG strix Z790-H were just a little too large, meaning the Assassin IV wouldn't seat flat on the CPU. You live and learn...

As always, I'm totally stoked to see Deepcool pushing on with affordable, airflow cases which provide useful quirks along with modern styling. There's a lot to love with the CH560, including extensive compatibility and a solid chassis to work with. The Assassin IV is without a doubt one of my favourite looking CPU coolers, and whilst it may slightly under-perform due to the enclosed design, the temps are still more than acceptable so that's good for me!

Deepcool change their logo and all of the sudden their products become really good
A rebranding could be considered a new beginning 🦾
The same thing happened with Asus' Tuf line. Before they changed their logo their products were entry level type value, and now it can be said that alot of their products feel more premium. My 4k 170hz Tuf monitor for instance looks incredible. My Tuf 4090 is amazing too. Only issue I have with it being I had to reapply thermal paste because Asus TIM application is hit or miss. After 3 weeks the hotspot hit 97c. I know it isn't based strictly on the tuf series, I had a Strix 4080 that had that issue as well. Never had the issue with MSI. Love my Suprim X 4090.
I love their commitment to that small green accent. Actually works well with the color theme in my own room.
Got the AS500 plus and by no means it is a bad cooler. Never seen my cpu above 50, plus without being able to hear anything.

Some people may not think much of it but you sir have perfectly demonstrated the importance of compatibility and making sure that all parts fit especially nowadays with how large the motherboard heatsinks can be. Thank you 😊 initially I had considered restarting the build and skipping past the error, but I do think it’s important to show when things don’t work out. All of this happened in real time whilst filming too, I didn’t anticipate it wouldn’t fit… but, you live and learn 😁
@@Mr_Matt_Lee now I have anxiety I'm building something in very similar price point but on AM5 platform, aaaand I can't find any info if Gigabyte B650 AORUS or similar have enough clearance on their vrm heatsinks to accommodate a beefier air cooler like an Assassin IV or AK620.
Maybe you know a good B650 board with enough room for a bigger air cooler?

This was the slickest build video I've ever watched. I can't say I've ever seen a video like this without commentary. It was strange at first, but within the first couple minutes I was wishing all build vids would be like yours.

I really like the beefy air cooler. It fills the negative spaces unlike some AIOs. I also feel like it could be a little bit better with some fans up top.

Deepcool are killing it. Clean and powerfull looking. About 7 years ago i had my coolermaster case front laser cut to put in simple square holes like this so i cud fit 2 x 140mm behind it and properly cool a 7940x cpu. Deepcool have build my case. And that cooler is lovely. Watch out Noctua.
Btw that cpu died anyway, contacts burned from pulling 300+watts power. Replaced with 5950x and again with 7950x.

DeepCool has established its own design language, and I'm eager to see its continuation, as nearly every product they released in 2023 was truly impressive.
I currently run a BeQuiet Dark Rock 4 with only the middle fan. I think i might like the looks of this even better. Love air coolers forever.

I would like to give you a recommendation friend, you could put the noise section, it would be perfect if you added that in the airflow section or separately, that you handle 2 levels, the first level would be titled "optimizing airflow for silence" speaking with the example that the case is 1 to 1.5 meters away from where you sit, the other level would be like level 2 "Optimized for better temperatures"
It is a recommendation dear Matt, so with this we could realize how quiet the system is and how good these fans are in that aspect, as you can see there are many cases that come with fans included, but yes friend, the section on Noise :)
This must be deepcool’s competitor to the lancool iii with 3x140mm front fans. I like that there seems to be less obstruction via the front mesh vs their older cases
