I really heehaw'd during your introduction of this radio. Appeared so "Clunky" to me. However, it performed reasonably well. Good testament to GE. Thank you for your review and MW scan time. (Edit) I have to laugh at myself, I use my cell phone to watch your MW scans. In the past, I caught myself numerous times rotating my phone to enhance reception. Goodness, such natural behavior translated to watching a video... Hahaha..... Anymore, once you start your MW scans I set my phone aside and listen intently. Hehehe... I find my behavior amusing. Anyway, as always, Thank you for the time & effort you put In so very regularly each week. To bring reviews to all of us Radio Geeks. Even enjoy the flashlight and battery bank reviews too.
Recent Sub here, NZ Noobie. Awaiting my CC Crane pocket. Already researching the AM Stations in Aotearoa that i hope to pick up on a scan of the waves... cheers to you for the inspiration... love the variety of electronics here, thanks dude.
Hej Todderbert thanks for the video and the review of this radio i like the look and cool to have the tv band sign even if it does not work. Also want to say I am very happy with my EZBNB RD-207 mp3 version have had it for a week now. it has very good speakers and i like the oval shape very nice to hold take care and have a nice weekend.
The CCrane FM transmitters have a range pot under the spec label. Turn it all the way (I forgot which direction), and they really put out. I added a short wire to the antenna, and I can drive away from my house and still hear my signal.
I wish you'd review a 1960's GE World Monitor Multi band radio . Talk about a "Big Boy" radio! It's built like a tank and weighs a ton. Reversed painted dial, great sound very sensitive. I have one from 1968. They were made from 1964-1968, then the style changed and were made in Honk Kong.
G.E. Has made a lot of these oversized, chunky radios. This one is one ive not seen before. The “style “ is a bit unusual for G.E. Nice [ trench coat] pocket size radio. G.E. radios just seem to hold up over time. I’ve found many that just still work fine after many decades. [ not always the greatest performers, but reliable, and rugged]. 📻🙂

All I have is my Smartphone, and a small one, too.
📻😁
@@jeffking4176 I could use a tablet, but goodness, compared to a phone, those tablets can be tiring to hold...😸

Wow the size I didn’t think was that big until CC Pocket came alongside lol 👍🏻

That won't fit in my pocket unless I'm wearing my MC Hammer pants.
Well guess you're going to have to wear your MC Hammer's All Week then 🤣
@@danserrano2251 yep
A pocket radio. Pocket book radio that is.

I just bought a AM FM CB Monitor 7-2912A instead of TV, lets see what arrives....
Yes back when men were men and radios were......well.......large.
I do like this one. Thank You
It seems to be as sensitive like Sangean DT-200x
What year is the radio?
What a beautiful lady! 👏❤
Portable Tank lol
