I bought the product after watching this review and I’m really happy I did. I was concerned about the size being too small since I’m 6’4 and this wasn’t an issue at all

I am 6'3 and 240. I reached out to the company, and they said 6'3 is too tall. What is your experience with the product?

@@koreymorris6917I still have the product and still use it. I don’t have any problems with it. My girlfriend who’s 5’9 doesn’t like mine compared to hers as much because of the incline but I prefer the incline since you’ll burn more calories

Awesome review! Thanks for being so thorough and answering so many typical questions for a product like this. I think this product would be ideal for me - I am a short female with a short walking stride. I can spend up to 8 hours a day sitting at a desk on the computer and really need to spend more time moving my body for my health. I think this treadmill is built for this kind of application which is to walk (very) slowly while doing non-manual work such as computer work, attending online meetings (like Zoom) or just watching TV. I think this machine is less for cardio work and more for just getting more steps in during the day. It's better to do that than just sit on your behind all day being totally physically inactive and even this low-to-moderate level of activity can have surprisingly good benefits for overall health. I also like the small size so that the unit can be tucked away under a desk or leaned up against a wall to get it out of the way to get floor space back. I have a sit-stand desk that can be raised or lowered so this kind of small treadmill is ideal for my setup. This unit is going for about $400 in the US and this is on par with other moderately priced desk treadmills on the market but I think it has superior features such as its compact size. I plan to purchase this treadmill based on your review and enjoy the benefits! Thanks again for your hard work putting this great video out!!!

Thanks for taking the time to review this! I've been looking around for a small, portable treadmill and this one caught my interest, but it's pretty expensive. This would be my first treadmill if I bought it. I sit down a lot, always in front of the computer 4 - 10+ hours daily with little break in between. It is not good for my health, and I want to change that. It seems like you enjoyed this treadmill, but I get the impression there may be better out there. Does the treadmill run hot or any possibility of over heating? Does it make a lot of noise?

I only had it for a week or so and not run in to anything major issues yet. If budget is a constrain then my other video covers a slim walking pad which is good but with some limitation. The cheaper pad does not have incline at all, remote control is the only option and if you lose that and it will stop working all together. This walking pad has a small incline and also shorter and more compact, noise is not really a big issue but if you are on conference call people will hear repeating swoosh sound when the belt is press against the machine (happens to all treadmill). Since it is under a desk the sound not really travel directly into your phone which should be ok. No over heating in both that I notice and I did use both for more than 2 hours at a time.
I guess you are paying also for the phone connection option and some of the app contents for this machine. Keep researching and if you are in the UK buy from Amazon and look for free return, if it not working for you just return it :)

Found your review while trying to decide if I should jump on it as part of the Prime Day deals. Very good review and convinced me to give it a shot, at least at the reduced price of 383USD(276Pounds?). Sadly I know I am one of those people who can very well buy a piece of exercise equipment and then barely use it so I am kinda price sensitive on these things.

@@BCreviews Sadly good habits form hard but are broken easily and bad habits are easily formed but hard to break. But thankfully this habit shouldn't be hard to form since I was mostly looking for a way to keep active while doing my usual hobbies of reading/watching anime. The latter meant I was really focused on finding a quiet treadmill, or at least as quiet as they get.
Sadly now that this thing has arrived it is a lot louder than many videos made me believe. Or rather it got a lot louder. It was whisper quiet(at least compared to how loud I recall treads being anyways) at first when I was just making sure the belt was running center, but after I let the nephew use it a bit, since he was curious about it, it got a lot louder even when there is no one on it. I noticed the belt drifted to the side so I reentered it but it doesn't help much and while it runs center just fine with nobody on it, the moment it is used the belt ends up hugging either the right or left side very quickly, I probably wouldn't worry about it if it reentered itself with no one on it, maybe foot force just made it drift, but it doesn't recenter itself.
Furthermore, while I didn't notice the clicking you mentioned in the video at first when first powered on out of the box I certainly do after the nephew got on it and I am not sure if it is the same noise you were talking about in the video because it sounds a lot louder/different in person. If you are willing could you listen to the video linked below and tell me if it sounds like the same sound to you? Given how high the audio in the video needs turned up to hear it, I think it might be the same sound and I am just be being really sound sensitive. It just concerns me that the first time I started it out of the box I didn't hear it and only noticed it after it had been used the first time.

It would not allow me to open the link, may be it will work with my hone pc instead which I will try later. The motor noise happens if there is no load on the belt once it has something to work against it does not make that sound.
If the belt drift easily you may have release too much tension on both ends. The belt need tension on both ends but balanced. Hope it works out for you. I watch crunchy road while I do exercise, I find that 45 mins pass before I know it and fast pace walking will work out a sweat 😃

@@BCreviews The link issue was my bad, I forgot to publish it.
When I just turned it on now it was back to being whisper quiet. I did oil it last night, but even after running it for 10 minutes it didn't seem to do much, so I didn't think that was the issue. Today though it is quiet. I wonder if I got a unit that didn't get oiled up to specification. Technically it still clicks quietly as you mentioned, but it now sounds more like it did right out of the box.
As for the belt drift even after tightening some more(seriously I must have done at least 3 full turns of those bolts by now) it drifts while walking, but straightens itself back out after I am off it. Which I think is mostly normal? Don't know why I had to tighten it so much though. Makes me nervous since it has that warning in the manual about not over tightening it.

    • @BCreviews
      @BCreviews  3 роки тому

It should not drift , tighten or loosen I can’t be sure as it is confusing with turning it left or right. It did takes me 10 mins of trial and error.

Thank you for this review! I’m really curious about it and interested in it. Seeing you sidestep on it was super helpful. Also, it’s great to know that you could walk on it for 2 hours without any overheating. And, I love that it doesn’t make a loud bees when you change speeds & that it’s easier with the app. I have a few questions: 1) do you like it enough to keep it? 2) if I can only buy one desk treadmill, would you suggest this or the flat pad so that I can take a longer stride? (I’m 5’7” tall) Thank you!!!!!

    • @BCreviews

For fast walking and big stride go for the flat bigzzia, if using under desk but want to burn more calories the incline with Egofit really step up the cardio.

PSA: this thing has a 0.75HP motor which will definitely not last a year if you're using it every day. My motor started breaking down after a week. Egofit customer service is not responsive. Sadly, nobody on UA-cam or elsewhere is reviewing these products after months of daily use. Even LifeSpan, which used to be the best brand, has gone downhill in the last 2 years and their motor on the TR1200 is 2.25 HP. If you want a walking treadmill that will last a year or longer, you're going to have to either learn how to replace parts yourself or buy a ridiculously expensive ThermoTread.
