bro,i have been planning a ride to kozhikode from chennai on my himalayan. i havent even gone on a long ride, bike has 8k km covered by commute through chennai traffic. Would it be good idea to cruise at 100kmph till walayar.

Myself also prefer solo rides, undertaken solo rides from Kochi to Pollachi through Valparai . As you are a sports tourer fan, what prompted you to take an adv bike, is it your experience on BMW 850GS. Once you commented you will settle for this kind of bike not in your youth days!. Any how as righty said, it is one's choice. Thank you for your video describing small small things, even when you are on exciting moments.
Infact the ride on the 850 was the trigger point. But I never wanted a bigger adv bike for my highway runs. This is purely for off road fun. There is a whole different world with different riding skills, techniques and chanllenges out there in off road. I am now interested in learning those :)
