We were sunset side but didn’t quite have a sunset view. If you look at how the sunset villas (which face the sunset directly) are in comparison to the premier water villas then you will get a sense of how misaligned they were to the sunset. It was still a great view though and you won’t be disappointed.
+anfr Thanks for your comment. I think they built the fence to afford you some extra privacy. The Premier Water villa is not far at all offshore and the beach area near it is very popular with other guests. I think they wanted to ensure that you felt you had privacy in the bathroom without having to close the blinds. Not sure how they could have accomplished that otherwise given the design of the villa.
+Jonathan Parr Aha l see. Maybe paint it offwhite/very light grey like the st Regis maldives colour wooden louvre doors? Or mirorwindows? l just think such a stunning view should not be blocked. Btw your videos are excellent !
+anfr Thanks for your kind comment - I'm so pleased you enjoy my videos! Don't get me wrong - I think you're entirely right about not blocking the view and I wish they could have found a better way of achieving privacy in the suite whilst maintaining the view. Mirror windows would have been an excellent idea.
Thanx so much for taking the time to film this super helpful

Did you have a sunset view in the premier water villa? Or should i choose the villas on the other side (301-312)

Luxury Hotel Reviews by Jonathan Thank you 😊 appreciate it
Is the pool water salty or normal
The pool is freshwater.
That fan is indeed beautiful! You said there is no villa on the other side so why did they block the view with that ugly fence?
I mean no stunning view from the bath tub?
