I've been a big OnePlus fan over the last years - I had the OnePlus 2, Oneplus 5 and the OnePlus 6t - All phones were great and I would not trade them for any other phone in retrospect. But the newest prices are getting out of hand - I am really disappointed. Other companies at least give you some goodies when ordering the flagship phone (like Samsungs free buds) - OnePlus gives you the CHANCE of winning a wireless charger. So for me it's time to switch the phone brand. Thanks for the ride OnePlus.

It actually doesn't cost that much to put in those features. Look at Xiaomi, their latest flagship phone, €999 in Europe, but it's €350 cheaper in China, and they're still making a profit there. OnePlus could offer this at a much lower price, but they've decided to price gouge their customers.

I say from Bangladesh, the price of this phone has been kept very high. But according to the price, the camera should have been improved even more by the Pro version. Even look at S20 Plus when it initially launched, price gap is $200 US, not even speaking about S20 Ultra. What is the upgrade in specs in Oneplus 8 as compared to Oneplus 7t except the price increase 😠😡 and slightly better display.... please give me a reason to buy Oneplus 8 instead of Realme X50 pro and IQoo 3 . One biggest cons is no telephoto lens at this price and for what 2mp macro lens is given .....it is of no use... Oneplus is no more my first choice because Oneplus is no more a flagship killer. Unfortunately I agree that their prices are going in the wrong direction. They set out to reach flagship status all along while pretending they would be the killers of them. Now they're at the top and everyone else is making affordable, low priced, quality phones. And with how many people are affected by this pandemic I would think 1+ would step up and once again be ahead of everyone and make their phones affordable. But it looks like the other brands are going this route and bringing affordable phones. However, they have shown that with patience and perseverance you can get to the top and for that I congratulate them.
