I have been using nalpamaradi oil brought from a local Ayurveda shop on my body daily for years now. I have never had to use any moisturizers or body butter. It deeply moisturizes the skin and helps with dark patches and body acne.
Being an Ayurveda doctor I have to warn that this oil definitely causes acne in oily skin when applied on the face. It’s a good oil for the body though
I usually never recommend anything for cystic acne... but strangely this my Ayurveda doc asked me to apply for my post pregnancy acnes scars. he said 20 lions before bath and wash it off
Well it definitely gvs u acne if u sleep wid dis oil on ur face or keep it longer. I have experienced it twice and hence ensure that i wash it off within an hr of its application and hv seen not a single pimple ever since i began using it.
And this is coming from a gal with highly acne prone skin. 😊
Any oil increases sebum and acne.
I had severe acne and acne scars and my skin type is extremely oil...but fortunately this oil suited me like a miracle...have been using since last 2years...i have a clear acne free skin now.
This cured my acne. I have oily/combination skin. I apply this before shower and wash it off with a gentle cleanser and follow up with kumkumadi Thaïlam ( very thin layer). Been doing this and my skin has never looked this radiant.
NOTE:- I’ve used brands like Kottakkal and vidyaratnam, both dint work for me. I use Amma ayurvedashala’s, and it’s got a reddish tinge ( no turmeric). That’s probably why this time it worked for me.

Hi everyone pls read this before buying. This is my review after trying for one year. I asked Shweta long ago which I should go for and she did say Kama and shesha. I went for shesha because Kama is a rich persons brand and I really never resonated with it. First two months I tried it I broke out every time I used it. But my body was glowing like anything. It stains like mad so be careful to wash it off very well. Then a friend asked me to apply on face for only 15 mins after massaging. And wash off immediately. So I started doing that. One hour for body and last fifteen mins I put it on my face.. soon I stopped breaking out and my black mark around my chin and jaw line because of acne started fading. This is a good oil and requires a lot of patience and patch test. It’s is very strong. Hope this helps. Go for shesha. Like Shweta chechi said dilute it if you’re trying it out for first time and I used almond too

I also use Nalpamaradi Oil from Shesha Beauty as it is slightly cheaper than Kama Ayurveda..I don't apply the oil directly on my face as in west Bengal it is way too much humid during summer..I like to take few drops of Nalpamaradi Oil with Yellow kasturi manjal again from Shesha along with their pure rose water..I keep it for half an hour until the mask is completely dried..followed by Kumkumadi oil..I kid you not..the result is absolutely fantastic..The glow is real..I also use the same pack (Nalpamaradi+ yellow manjal+rose water) in my underarms as well..and it is also glowing like no one's else business 😁.. absolutely love the products

Kumkumadi oil takes time to suit your skin specially acne prone skin.. first 15 days i was breaking out terribly but i did not give up because it's a beautiful oil..what i did i used white kasturi manjal pack from Shesha Beauty to balance my breakouts..and now the Kumkumadi oil starts showing the effect on my skin.. once i get accustomed with the oil.. it's not giving me a single breakout..

I started using the kama Ayurveda Nalpamradi tailam 3 months before my marriage. I used leave it overnight. My entire tan and acne marks completely vanished in the course of these 3 months. My complexion improved drastically.

@@divyaaggarwal3745 Yes. I used to leave it overnight. But be a little careful because this oil stains, so I would advise you to cover your pillow with a towel when you sleep.

This year on Holi everyone in my family applied vaseline and coconut oil.
(I have a dry skin and thus colors never go off until next evening. )
I applied nalpamradi oil on my body and face this year..not only the color went away with a blink, my skin didn have any itching due to colors aur any tanning..it is this good.❤❤❤.I swear by Nalpamaradi oil,Kumkumadi oil and Eladi kera tailam as well...❤❤

No child in my family has grown without using this oil in the last 3 generations and women swears by its excellence! The glow and the clarity it gives to the skin is amazing. Even if I dont use it as often an I want, whenever there is a skin issue like dryness or pigmentation I use it for a while and it works. Every single time.

I have used one directly from Kotakal (way cheaper and hopefully as potent) and yes it stains a lot not sure if Kama stains less but the doc asked mix besan curd to remove the oil and not use soap / face wash to Remove the oil. Thanks for voicing these gems of India 🤗

As a doctors who believes in science I come from a family ( husband and family ) who practices Ayurveda. This is one of their favourite oil . Everyone in my house use this and I have as well. It’s strong and takes months to see a difference. But results will be achieved. I would recommend this more for body and under arms darkness.

From Kotakkal you can get the nalpamaradhi with a base of coconut oil aswell.
I paid only less than 200 Rs for that bottle not sure why is to so costly in kama.

I agree with the time thing... this oil is quite quick to show results. I never could understand the benefits of haldi on skin improvement until i started using this oil.

hey Shweta... I love kama.. i have used many bottles of nalpamaradi since it was around 650/675. But on a fine morning, I noticed the oil is only marketed by them and manufactured by Arya Vaidya Pharmacy. Luckily i have a store near my home. So i bought a bottle which costs around 200 (that too for 200ml) in kolkata. Since then i stopped buying kama one. they are increasing the price like crazy. Last 2years it is only AVP or Arya Vaidya Sala nalpamaradi oil for me. AVP is little light and AVS one is thicker in consistency.
I was just wondering if i should go with the AVP one instead of shelling out on kama. Thanks :D
@@xkqy5594 definiately. Even kama bringadi is manufactured by AVP, you can try neelibringadi directly from AVP store itself. It costs 1/5th of kama ones.
By no means i am saying kama is bad. Their rose water, eladi and night cream.... i cant live without these but whenever applicable i buy oils from avp stores only.
See the series I’ve started is to tell you the benefits of the oil. So Arya or Kama or shesha it doesn’t matter as long as you get a good formulated one from s reputed brand .

You can buy both. Nalpamaradi thailam should be used before bath for half and hr and washed off. But kumkumadi thailam should be used at night only. If you have dry skin then you can use the kumkumadi thailam overnight and if you have any other skin type then use the kumkumadi thailam for half and hr and wash it off followed by your night skincare routine

Kerala ayuerveda nalpamardi keram from amazon is same as this oil yu are mentioning with 16 ingredients and works same as kama one. And price wise 122/- for 100 ml.

yes it will help... it won't make it go completely but helped lighten certain body parts of mine that became darker after pregnancy
