    Trust me, Manti is even better with more chili oil sauce, or even better with oily tomato sauce, sumack, mint oregano or parsley a little on top, they allso make tantuni like that
    They eat Iskender with yoghurt too, tomatoes and green peppers, sometimes grill as a side and to add colour to the plate and some extra flavours, and hot butter on it

    Already written but that thing in simit and eggs are _beef pepperonis_ called *sucuk* .
    *Simit* is awesome. It's a _crunchier_ bagel with sesame on all its surface, people eat it for _breakfast_ or _snack._
    *Simit Sandwich* has olives, _sucuk_ , feta cheese(know that's kinda greek), cucumbers and tomatoes in it. It's an awesome _breakfast!_
    *Iskender* is _bread pieces_ dipped in doner oil, topped with _doner meat_ topped with _tomato sauce_ . We eat it with _yogurt_ too. I love it.
    P.S.: *Doner meat* is usually _beef_ , but some Doners have a _mixture_ of _beef_ and _lamb_
    *Borek* is just like _Greek spanakopita_ but we use the oil inside more and not on top of it so it's _USUALLY_ not that crunchy. But i think it tastes better like that.
    *Mantı* is _mini dumplings_ filled with %really little meatballs_ (beef). It's eaten with _garlic yogurt_ and that sauce _(which's butter, tomato paste, some hot water and red pepper flakes)_ usually. It may be weird but a lot of people in Here think eating raw fish is "different" too. That's just taste differences. _No offense to sushi-lovers._
    That turkish breakfast is *Sucuklu Yumurta* :
    Sucuk=beef pepperonis
    Yumurta=eggs
    So that means _eggs with beef pepperonis._ And we eat that with that bread-like thing. We take a piece of bread. Dip it in. Get a piece of pepperoni and some egg and eat it like that with our hands.
    Rice pudding is called *sütlaç* which means _milk dessert(kind of)_ and its top's like that because it's _baked_ in the oven after it's prepared.
    *Revani* is _"like pound cake with lemon sugar syrup on top"_ but it's a bit different. Sorry I can't describe it. You have to taste it.
    Hope I was Helpful. Yeah *Turkish cuisine* is influenced by _Greek, Lebanese, Arabic and even Russian cuisine._
    There are regions in Turkey and all regions have different kind of food.
    Western= _Greek_ influenced
    _Burek, dolma etc._
    Southeastern= _Lebanese and Arabic_ influenced
    _Kebab, doner etc._
    Northern= *kinda* _Russian_ influenced
    _Khachapuri, shashlik etc._
    Middle=That's where you find the tastes from Old Asia times of Turkic countries. *Mantı* is one of them. Influenced by _Chinese cuisine ;)_
    That happens to food. Especially when a _country_ becomes a *multinational* country. Like, _tikka masala was/is considered as English._ Or *Tarte Flambee* and *Flammkuchen* are the Same! Or the a lot of food considered _American_ today originates from _Europe_ .That's because Food is culture and people bring culture where they go, including *_food_*
    Have a good day, all of you.
    Bon appetit Quang.

    Most of that’s Armenian food the sausage is called soujouk It’s an Armenian sausage that is dried, cured, and usually made out of ground beef or lamb.
    Soujouk is heavily seasoned with garlic and spices as a way to flavor and preserve the meat. The process takes several days to cure, and is best made during the winter months when the curing can take place in a cool to cold setting.

    Sucuk is made of beef, with a lot of spices dried, some sucuk is made of rest organs of the animal, like sausage and stuff
    Döner meat is 50/50, or completely lamb, chicken of beef, most of the time it’s beef and lamd, or beef only or chicken only, but the critical points is the lamb fat in it, we kall it: kuyruk yagi, tail fat, it’s in a lot of meat, allso in kebabs and cag kebabs.
    Btw, the bread and meat from the Iskender is soaked in buttery oil, allso yoghurt is been eaten with it, or rice, thin döner, and allso tomatoes and green peppers on the side, allso to make it look astetic nice choreography
    Maybe the manti you eat were soya filizi, mantisi, it’s basically Turkish ravioli, minst meat in it
    A manti has garlicky yoghurt like a cacik, greek= tzatziki for example.
    The rice pudding is callled: Sütlaç

    You did everything right, Yoghurt is supposed to go on Iskender Kebap. There are different Böreks, the one you had is called Su Börek, literally meaning Water Börek :D its supposed to be chewy, doughy, watery, but theres crispy Börek too. The Sausage in both the Eggs and Simit is called Sucuk, its a garlic beef sausage thats cured. The Manti you had was ok but not good, if you try my version you will fall in love. I grind up salt and garlic, mix that with the Yoghurt and set that aside. Then i prepare the Manti and make sure the ground beef inside is seasoned well, cook the Manti until they float, get them out and put into a bowl, pour over the garlic Yoghurt, and now comes the finishing touch, heat up a pan and melt butter or margerine, once its all melted you add dried chili flakes and stir until it gets foamy, now pour your hot chili butter/margerine over your Manti covered in garlic Yoghurt, it should make a sizzling sound, enjoy your mouth orgasm.

    I'm a Turkish person and as I know I will try to describe what is sucuk ans what it's made out of.In sucuk,there is sooo many spices and it can be made out of many meat.To give it a shape they use some kind of animal gelatin product but before cooking it you have to take this gelatin off.So basically its made out of spices,animal gelatin and any kind of meat.

    Dont want to offend the owners of the shop, but i myself am turkish but living in germany, and in germany we have high class döner kebab restaurants.
    That Iskender looks kind of dissapointing because its processed meat. I usually dont go into a Döner Restaurant if i see they got processed meat, because you dont know whats in there, and it kind of tastes the same everytime. If you're ever in germany, go into a good looking and full restaurant and order iskender, it has such high quality meat and you can choose between Lamb/Chicken/Beef. Or even a normal Döner Kebab / Dürüm is an ordinary expierience for somebody who doesnt eat this everyday! The manti looked quite good tho. Greetings

    Sucuk is made of beef with seasoning and a lot of garlic.
    The "Chili oli" you called it which comes along with "manti" is only melted butter with paprika. Inside the "manti" is beef too, like ravioli.
    The rice pudding is actually is called "Sütlac" in Turkey !
    Really nice to see you enjoying tukish food " :D

    True countries around Turkey share the same dishes with mild chances.
    Fun fact Turkish people are very proud about their food. Their is also never a right way to cook a dish. everybody gives it their twist.
    I would recommend melemen next time you order Turkish breakfast food. It's a tomato sauce based omelet that you can eat with bread
