I don't know what settings or setup you are using for the GoPro, but this was the most visceral MTB footage I have ever seen. Actually felt the speed and how technical the trail was all the way down!

Such beautiful landscapes and amazing routes, along with wonderful people. Even though I'm here in Korea, over 9,000 km away, I dream of the day when I can visit such a place.
OMG! I'm booking a biking trip to the alps now! I've done this kind of biking for years in my 20s, now I'm 34 and only bike in the local hills. But compared to this it's nothing! This video is inspiring.
This was the best Brian Safa video I've ever watched. It was the most dangerous Brian Safa video I have ever watched. Congratulations my friend. I also congratulate the whole team. It was a perfect landing video. You rode your bike like a machine :))) Greetings from Türkiye. I will continue to watch and recommend you, my friend. Thanks a lot. have fun and good luck.
That was exhilarating and scary at the same time. It was so fast that I thought at times the footage was sped up and I needed to slow it down, only then to hear chatter at normal speed. Excellent skills and very impressive handling if mtb around steep sharp corners.
That was epic and also made me realize I'm 30+ years, a few crashes, and several nut sizes removed from doing that kind of thing! I started in the era when suspension didn't exist around the time of Ned, Rishi, Tinker,, etc.
@@maxim54321 Oh I still love my 1990 MTB with all vintage and custom stuff on it, I just can't do anything too gnarly on it like I once did. (I have a newer bike though as well!)
I too was a Ned and Tinker fan back in the day. And I loved riding my cannondale hardtail. I gave up mountainbiking for the road 20 years ago, but I just turned 66 years old and bought a brand new Specialized Stumpjumper. Can't wait to get back on the trails!
Mtb is land surfing. The entire attitude has to be about working with the terrain. Road riding is about heart rate, wattage, etc. and overpowering the terrain.
Excellent video, Brian. And ridiculous skills. You followed two of the world's best mountain bikers and held your own on a triple NOPE trail (for me). I bow to thee, O Great Safa.
I came across your channel recently and have been stoked to watch the videos of you charging downhill on a road bike. As a mountain biker, this video made me subscribe! Definitely more MTB content please!
It's always spectacular watching when holy & shit are put together. Epic trails , killer sceneries & awesome fast riding. It's also nice to see pro riders on trail fun mode.
@@mrvwbug4423 ya, but pnes out there are mostly filmed with something like go pro and most of them have this narrow aspect ratio thing which kind of makes drops looks deeper
OMG that double crash!! Those tight rear wheel lifting turns! Technical, steep, chattering descents! Awesome hot sauce indeed! Kate Courtney would kill it an enduro btw.
Safa, i don't know what it is about your video but I can watch them time and again. To be honest im a little bored of the road descending videos so these off road ones definitely are exciting.
Its awesome. The whole Aosta Valley has trails everywhere and very good variation from black/pro DH bike park tracks to steep and gnarly hiking trails. Nevermind the views. And if you base yourself in Aosta town the telecabine is 5-10 mins from the town center up to the top of Pila and from there you can ride bike park or ride hiking trails. Plus gelato at the end of your ride 😂
The first comment it's exactly what I was thinking. I don't know if it's the light, the shot, the landscape, the settings or your ability to ride but I like the video. I say hello from Argentina. I did chuckle as you said about riding a hire bike and getting used to it. Its worse as a Brit in Italy, I got a hire bike by the cable car and took it up Mount Baldo above Lake Garda. Set off down their red run and at the first corner to my shock and horror I realised the Brakes are round the wrong way. Brits have the Back Brake on the Left! It gave me issues all the way down. Apart from that amazing ride. :-)

True, really gorgeous footage!!! My attention was pinnned to the very last second 👍👏

Love the road downhills, love the gravel rides, but this one might be the most sweat I ever produced while watching your vids :D insane!
Great to hear!

That was fucking awesome~ We need to see the footage where SAFA rides with Nino Schurter and Brendan Fairclough next!!
I do have to wonder if Schurter was in that party train, looks like the rest of the Scott factory riders were.
Love the energy and tempo of this ride man
