17:30 We do know what caused the Doom. The Faceless Men originated among the Valyrian slave-miners. Faceless men slit the throats of the mages tapping the Fourteen Flames powering the sorceries of Valyria City. And like Homer Simpson at the nuclear reactor... _meltdown._ 6:25 I think Nettle proves you can tame a dragon perfectly well by _feeding them sheep._ It's not subtle. Prehistoric Valyrians were shepherds. Then during the Dance, a hill-tribe shepherd girl tames a dragon. No fire, no blood. No, I think the dragons came first, and the bio-magic came after. Maybe with the help of Asshai. Why would sorcerors give the supposed secrets of dragonlore to a bunch of nomadic shepherds? They'd go to Yi-Ti or Sarnor or even the First Men. The Valyrians got Dragons on their own.
You definitely check out this guy's other channel Kings and Generals... I recommend his series about the war in Ukraine (I apologize if that's too problematic to talk about but I think his videos are pretty in-depth about the whole thing)
I always wondered why the valyrians married their own family if there were many other dragon family’s, but according to this theory, it’s because some ancestor would have to be sacrificed to bind their blood to that dragon, and so any eggs that would hatch would be would only bind to that family, so keeping it in the family so the strongest biggest dragons, would be controlled by the family unless deals and alliance would be made for political purposes, so I’m guessing also the dragons would also just breed from that family
I always thought it'd be to keep the Dragon(tamer) Blood concentrated. They need the right genetics to tame dragons, and the only other Valyrian stock are in Volantis, which- _no._ The kings of Westeros aren't going to wed slaver commoners. Volantene dragonseeds are also probably not Forty Families grade dragontamer DNA like a fellow Targaryen.
Could you react to epic history tv videos on 1848 revolutions and decembrist revolt. I am missing your reaction on history content and I liked your reaction to napoleonic marshal series.
Dragons eat whatever they want, Kit. The Freehold simply had enough meat for them to grow to the size of buses.
Old Ghis basically brought swords to a nuke fight.
It said the freehold was home to dragons even bigger than Balerion the Dread.
You've gotta react to the new Martincitopants video Kit! He specifically mentioned Chicago Reacts in his description!
I think the show is pretty good, they got big dragon and incest.

It would be great if you reacted to their other series. They recently started a series on Cosmere universe and it's awesome.
