Each of the Sarsen stones of stone henge is about 25 tonnes. There are 15 of these stones so it weighs at least 375 tonnes not including the smaller stones or the lintel stones.
Absolutely! I was wondering if they were including the foundation of the Hollywood sign, to make it comparable. Apparently they were just not including more than one of the stones from the henge.

@@PhoneticIHype that still can't be correct. Use your math. If they weigh combined 25 tons, and they are 2-5 tons each, the very maximum amount of stones would be 12. And there are many more than that.
Each stone of Stonehenge is 25 tons, it isn't 25 tons in total. The weights aren't even debatable as to which is heavier.

In fairness, the tower of Pisa was built like 800 years earlier, and it was just the local bell tower. Eiffel tower is built of wrought iron, not steel.
In fairness, Eiffel tower is mostly build with iron, but contains a lot of concrete and metal.

Ok so the 25 tons for Stonehenge is just for the largest stone called sarsens, thats one stone not all. The Hollywood sign they are also calculating the concrete which is 13 feet under ground with steel girders going through as anchors. Still crazy 225 tons.

its crazy to me that they talk about the rivian trucks bc in illinois we’ve had rivian for a while it seems like. A lot of people work there and we see the trucks everyday! They are really dope looking
Seeing the leaning tower of Pisa was a very strange experience. Kinda like your mind doesn't accept the fact of a building that's not standing upright.
A lot of the statues during the Renaissance were … small… because they saw that as being associated with being more scholarly or intellectual.
The leaning tower of Pisa is built with and clad in a ton of marble, that’s why it’s so heavy and is actually why it began to lean. The entire top of the tower is a series of shallow marble steps. Just to give some perspective as to how dense it actually is, when it was 90 degrees outside in Pisa, inside of the tower was about 20-30 degrees cooler.
