    Much appreciated; Fraser was a natural raconteur and had more experience of the antiquated British prison system than almost any man of his era as such this is a valuable oral history.

      exactly he went thru a lot of punishment like the birch and the cat 9 tails ect . human rights abuse before we had the EU court. I'm sure now we out of EU British justice will go back to the dark ages

      you forgot to mention why he was so experienced in the british prisons system,could it be he was a total idiot who was the most failed criminal in england as he spent most of his criminal life banged up.

    I won't slag him off but i don't think he did as much as people make out, i mean he lived till he was 91, he didn't go away till he was 18, he spent 42 years inside, that's 60 years gone & he didn't do anything from the age of 65 or even earlier, untill he passed away, thats another 26 years gone.
    That leaves 5 years at the most !

    Regardless of what he was/did outside of prison, how he chose to do all those years inside was something that few men could tolerate or survive. Today’s prison life and when he was locked up are completely different and the draconian system back then was brutal.

      Prison conditions now are luxury compared to the 1950s and before,as prisoners even for trivial offences were fed just bread and water.The birch punishment was used that caused unbearable pain.Also the sentences were generally much longer.

      Well it's difficult to say .theres no fair play in mental institutions and prisons ..or in war .its a fallacy. Maybe there is in sport .the staff use weight of numbers . They do nothing on their own .when they executed someone they tied them up .put s good over their head .pierrepoint wasn't a hero .he couldn't hunt anybody down on his own. Nor could the psychiatrist in broadmoor .they're not heroes .they're cowards too .

    • @ericsalles3393
      @ericsalles3393 4 роки тому

      You probably think all these people working in institutions are brave ..they're in a system .maybe you think that the cops in america who killed the black man by kneeling on his neck are brave .and deserve a medal for doing their job .heroes. I dont know..they have power and guns and are backed up by the government system. They're not brave .they'll probably get away with it .like Fraser said if they killed him in broadmoor .they would have just put natural causes on the death certificate ..when they say they're all heroes its propaganda .they're covered. The judiciary .police and army officers .politicians aren't heroes. They have a position in a hierarchy .the screws and psychiatric nurses aren't heroes .they never tell anyone what they do . On their own they're the biggest screaming cowards . Alive

    • @ericsalles3393
      @ericsalles3393 4 роки тому

      When the screw was giving the prisoner the cat .the prisoner couldn't see him .so he sisnt know which screw had given it to him .because the screw feared reprisal. That's how much of a hero he was . The magistrate is no hero ..its propaganda..the doctors and psychiatric nurses and prison officers .dont let the prisoners and patients know their names ..in case of reprisals .revenge for their abuse .they're not brave heroes
