I swear it is so obvious that LMPD is corrupt all the way up. I searched the internet on this chief and found that one news release by NPR says that the chief was fired, and the Courier Journal says he retired. Watching the assistant chief stuttering when asked why the Lieutenant was transferred was obvious that he was lying through his teeth. Why he tap danced around the question made him look ridiculous. They demoted and transferred the lieutenant because he raised concerns about some of the practices. I hope he wins this lawsuit.
I'm so damn tired of the lies of LMPD and then spokespersons get on camera and talk about bad apples, we need to burn down the whole orchard, and start over first thing is FIRE all of the top brass, start making officers take lie detector test, yeah they're going to complaine about cost, but what is the price of integrity!!!!
If you have to think that long and keep looking around for help, you want to tell the truth, but don't want to have to be the one that tells the truth. If he pulled a guy over that answered questions the way he is, you would be arrested on suspicion of some trumped up charge!!!!
Also if officers had "skin in the game" they wouldn't be so eager to do these things that put our police in a bad light, therefore they should be BONDED, therefore when they mess up it will come out of their own pockets instead of the tax payer ..... in other words take their pensions!!!!!
when deputy chief struggles answering simple questions, you know that department is engaged in unlawful activities.
