cars in these videos typically compete in a wattage range so he may not be able to exceed your system also he said dude has amp problems and by the sound of it he probably needs a better battery and alternator
damn hadn't seen the part where he shows the quaking and yeah this build is seriously underpowered i mean just wow the door barely moved and he has no bracing in his cabin there should be way more flex if that system was set up correctly my guess the power is falling off past the first sub probably wired wrong or just not enough power really sad because even though i feel his set up looks bad it should still knock
Definitely something off with that middle subwoofer the Voice coil spacing was completely different than the 2 outside speakers. If you look, there's like an inch space between the spider and the actual rap on the voice coil and the middle sub. The rap was bottomed out to the spider. You couldn't even see the former it probably got over heated an came unglued
Thought i was tripping and until i figured out he has 2 12 and one 10 in the middle ,this is definitely a different kind of build but gets the job done 👍
I did a 1999 Toyota Tacoma prerunner extended cab with two Fosgate p3s and Memphis,2ch &mono inside! the dashboard where the passenger airbag was using the removable hatch as access door. And a Kenwood head unit. Subs were down firing4"above floor with a custom built enclosure carpeted to match with modified floor pan, and the extended cab area was still usable for small children with Center toolbox incorporated into enclosure. amplifiers only required a small 2 inch cooling fan pulling air out of AC vent . front stage was 6 1/2" two way components, tweeters mounted at the corners of the kick panels facing in 40 degrees which gave a respectable Imaging, total system power was 750 watts.. .
Nice. I got a tacoma 4 door with back seats took out and custom box with 2 of the punch 12’s with fosgate punch 400’s going to each sub and put in 2 500w 24v loud speaker horns that came from a sec college football stadium i got when they were remodeling it.. the loudspeakers are controlled on their own built in amps with volume knobs to adjust gain on each. The horns are 2 feet tall x 1.5’ square at the bell pointed up from mounted on the floor.. i cant turn em up all the way without earplugs and ear muffs on or it will probably blow my eardrums if the song hit a certain frequency.. they range from 800 to 20k.. meant for projecting sound up to a quarter mile…. Lol. I got separate batteries for the 24v with their own alternator dedicated .. horns are made by klaxon.. like the company who make the horns for big ass ships.. its the only system that I’ve heard where the bass hits hard but the mids and highs are always super clear with no distortion.. i dunno why more people don’t use horns.. they’re not ridiculously expensive or difficult to purchase.. they’re not rated for enclosed areas because of their db levels are measured at 100 foot intervals.. like mine are 140 db at 300 feet 1khz tone.. thats a loud ass whistle..
I'm in Houston, tx.its tons of rides with awesome sound systems. But not many people doing more then 4 speakers In a vehicle..truck ,car or suv...we have no major car shows in the area where people can go and look at how the audio game has changed over the years...we have guy called ( bassin Simi ) in Houston on UA-cam!!!! I ain't traveling across state lines to go watch that stuff..
I feel ya brother/sister. I’ve asked Jacob if he travels to any shows in a southern MO-centric radius, but nah. Apparently the SE US ((Georgia, Alabama, Florida, etc…) have a shitlload of shows. Jacob, BassAddict 91, YaBoiKG, and I believe EXO all seem to get plenty of content in those areas. I’m in the nether regions of SW MO and there’s very little going on. I’m 46 and don’t really get out much, but it’s hard to find people who are into doing their own shit. Most around here are teens or early 20-somethings who drop their vehicles (and presumably a stack of cash or credit card) at the primary installer in the area, Creative Car Audio. Unfortunately they’re a retailer of pretty much only RF, Alpine, JL, and a few other manufacturers. That’s all fine, and they do great work, but unless u wanna drop $80-$90/hr to discuss possibilities w/ ur own build using other products, ur just kinda stared at and brushed off. It sucks. And I’m not exaggerating about paying for the info. I do understand that they get paid to do their thing tho, so it is what it is. I’ve actually gotten more attention and respectful info/replies f/ The Man Jacob himself by messaging on here or IG. I just hate to bother him cuz I know there’s gotta be a LOT of people like me out in the ether that would love to pique his brain for hours/days! So if u happen to read this Jacob, HUGE THANK YOU for giving me the time of day and being extremely courteous!! Love ur content, positivity, non-judgement, and mostly ur great knowledge of ur own content. Would love to see some new footage of ur personal projects too! Keep up the GREAT work and again, thank you! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Quick question box was a little small for those subs , based on room you had ,when you decided to invert did you reduce your port area or increase it or leave it as was??? Cause I'm pinched for room as well so baller box with inverted subs can I increase or decrease my port for proper tuning ...Nice build....
Ask and i shall receive...i just asked for this kinda video yesterday 😂.sweet those are expensive and looks great .almost the same build style as my old setup but i did it "almost" budget .with budget subs 900 rms and a 2ohm version 5000 watts amp wired to 2.65 ohms, but my port was across the back of the box for a 151 at 44hz...just lucked out being my cab Resonance.. before port tuning...
Dude was cheesing whole time, then....are you louder sealed? Looked like he was crying on the inside. But foreal, that is a sweet looking system. Sweet like Danish that is.
Hey dude I love your vids man , Im running a budget lil build a single second hand 4d 8" targa 1000watt rms in 900x900 simple Tline box I put together by hand with a jig saw and wood glue in my tata indica , damn it slaps hard clean & tight running a 700watt American bass amp.
I really dont get what the point of all that setup and money to hear nothing but vibrations and damageing your organs loli love muaic and old cars love bass but thats just doesnt make sense
Thank you for doing your part of protecting everyone around you from whatever disease you have
That's funny 😂 like that comment

Wear a mask but touch hands...we live in a uneducated society.

Hey dude, I have a question how do I go to these places?
U need to live in the area of those events..or travel to the big Meg ones.

Subwoofer B2
Is it me or the middle voice coil fried?. Looks completely different than the outside subs. ??
Middle sub is just from a different time, or batch of orders.
