I like how much power this has behind it. Almost every Sonic remix I’ve seen reduces the power and changes the theme of the music through that. This sounds like the Death Egg is running on overdrive.
Badnik: doctor it's ready Doctor Eggman: good Badnik: what is it ? Dr eggman: it's a new form of transportation to get me around the facility this is how it works ahhhhhhhh !!!
I really like how the song changes up just a bit on the second time around, then on the third you threw in that killer electric guitar segment. Really nice work, man
I can't explain how Emotional these Remixes are, the Original OST Brings back so many Memories, and is my Favourite. But these my friend, Are absolutely incredible. - I just found your channel now, and I can't stop listening to the Sonic & Knuckles 3 Remixes from you.
I just wanna say I really LOVED this one, I think I’ve heard a bit of “You Can Do Anything” in the song, and that portrays it perfectly, as the final level Sonic is determinated enough to defeat Eggman, while Act 1 sounds more robotic and atmospheric, Act 2 catches the “You’re near the end! You can do it!”
call me crazy. your work is stellar, like always, although i prefer your act 1 rendition over this, but i think it's mainly a personal preference for the instrumentation therein.
Most of the work was done in the Act 1 remix, but Act 2 sounds great too. I love the new trumpets, they're so cute, and i don't know why! Pretty solid results, great work as always.
Bouncy Glow Spin-Offs So, I was listening to this awesome remix again and I think this was a reference right?.. 0:57 "Toot Toot Sonic Warrior, Deep in Space and Time, Toot Toot Sonic Warrior" (I don't know why I typed "Tooth tooth Sonic Warrior" lol)
Despite how little change there was in this remix compared to the first one, this is still a nice track! And it was about time that you hit something else related to Death Egg aside from the first act. XD
Never noticed it, but the engines running inside the walls of the Death Egg are probably Stirling engines, which implies that much of the piping throughout the Death Egg is a heat carrying gas or the generators are themselves fueled with something the produced heat. It implies that the Master Emerald was only needed for his ultimate weapon and launching the Death Egg, not powering it. Old Robotnik was a lot more practical than modern. He actually knew of other power sources than esoteric and eldritch ones.
Even tho there are almost some changes between both act songs, it still suprises me how you manage to remix this when, as i said, it sounds almost the same! Anyway, great remix bouncy!
This remix is excellent, is your best death egg zone remix and really catches the space viber with parts like 00:20, however I feel that the use of the orchestra (probrably trumpets) is not fitting for the theme and rock would replace it much better Talking about rock, I feel that 1:17 emphasizes too much on rock as I believe that rock should not be the main melody for this theme If you ever plan on remixing this zone again please take this into consideration
I just got an amazing idea, if you ever plane on making another remix of this stage then the sky sanctuary to death egg (the floor falling while sonic climbs a big pillar) part could be really well implemented at the start
I dont know why sega has a reluctance to make sequels to sonic mania? It did so well, why not do it again? there's a wealth of levels to pull from and make new ones too
I have a few ideas for a Mania remix: Rusty Ruins (either act) Marble Zone Act 1 Palmtree Panic Good Future (JP) Collision Chaos Present (JP) Gust Planet Zone Act 1 That’s all.
Thank you! I was thinking about throwing in some more echo/reverb. In case if you are wondering, many people have been complaining that a lot of my remixes contain too much reverb, so that is why I was a bit hesistant to include it.
+Silverfisherman Yeah but beware this is all fictional. Plus there technically are things for the sound waves to bounce off of (the death egg and the ground Sonic stands on while playing this)
Turtleman GO! Ik, but I'm saying that it doesn't make sense for there to be any more echo in this stage than in the other stages (also I like crisper music)
Thank you! =) Angel Island Act 2 is currently in the works, but I haven't touched it since January since I figured that I should save some money to buy latin/carribean instruments.
Too bad the death egg won't be returning to be in sonic mania plus cause you are like a Tee lopes mk II! And as always you still never cease to suprise me as usual...
Fun fact, the death egg is not as big as the Death Star. It is not bigger that angel island, since it needs to fit in Launch Base Zone which takes up a fraction of the island.
Pretty Good. Not really the biggest fan of Death Egg tbh, I think it’s good, that’s about it, -(could use a bit more Silver if ya know what I mean)- but the remix is still pretty good none the less. I feel like the description sums up this remix perfectly, which I’d probably say was my biggest problem with it. Doesn’t really differentiate itself much from act 1, but not like the original really did that, so I guess it’s fine. Anyways, good luck on your next remix.
I recall basing that part off of the loop in Flying Battery Act 2 from Sonic Mania, but it turned out to resemble You Can Do Anything/Green Hills heavily.
The 16-bit originals (Act 1 and 2) both sounded pretty similiar to each other, kind of like my two remixes of Death Egg. Nevertheless, there are a couple of changes present in both the originals and my remixes. Comparision for the originals: The differences are pretty subtle, although the main 16-bit instrument isn't the same as the Act 1 version. Besides that change, minor alterations such as the tempo/BPM (speed of the song) and slightly modified background accents can be spotted if you listen carefully. All of these differences were brought to the two remixes. Comparision for the remixes: The drums (kick and snare) aren't exactly the same ones that I used in Act 1, the hi-hats are somewhat louder in some sections of the Act 2 remix, the second loop of each remix is distinct, the synth pads (the "filling sections") are lighter in the Act 2 remix, and the guitar has a few more effects thrown in, compared to the Act 1 remix.
Bouncy Glow Spin-Offs any chance you could remix cosmic angel zone from sa1? Also here some ideas if they are done just let me know. Azure lake, competition menu s3&k, sky chase zone, metropolis zone, and route 99 sa3 plz and thank you
I like how much power this has behind it. Almost every Sonic remix I’ve seen reduces the power and changes the theme of the music through that. This sounds like the Death Egg is running on overdrive.
I'm glad that you like this remix. Nowadays, I try not to reduce the power/agressiveness the Genesis originals had.
Bouncy Glow Spin-Offs Glad you learned not to tamper with the strengths of the system. When in doubt, bass is dominant with the Genesis.
Badnik: doctor it's ready
Doctor Eggman: good
Badnik: what is it ?
Dr eggman: it's a new form of transportation to get me around the facility this is how it works ahhhhhhhh !!!

This is act1's echo fighter
How...
Can a man...
That fat move SO F*CKING FAST!!!???
Eggman: ho huh
I expect for Sonic Shorts reference... and I wasn't disappointed about this.
HO
a fat man can run cuz..
HE CAN
I though the "read more" part was gonna be an overused x people disliked joke

I got nothing to say, but this is amazing
You just said something
I just wanna say I really LOVED this one, I think I’ve heard a bit of “You Can Do Anything” in the song, and that portrays it perfectly, as the final level Sonic is determinated enough to defeat Eggman, while Act 1 sounds more robotic and atmospheric, Act 2 catches the “You’re near the end! You can do it!”
I recall that bit being unintentional, but I agree that it sounds near identical!
That part is in 0:55
Incredible.
I appreciate it!
Still as good as it was long ago! I remember listening to it years ago (and even commenting, although my comments were deleted about a few months ago)
This is my favorite version of Death Egg now.
Those damn trumpets give me life
Its quite something that Sonic, Tails and Knuckles survived Death Egg's gravity shift. I mean, that stuff is mad scary...
call me crazy.
your work is stellar, like always, although i prefer your act 1 rendition over this, but i think it's mainly a personal preference for the instrumentation therein.

Bouncy Glow Spin-Offs You're welcome. Keep up the good work!
Loving the groove of this tune.
Gives me Mega Man vibes, a bit. Wily Castle-esque.
This remix is awesome! Makes me wish for a Sonic Mania 2 with the death egg returning!
Wow amazing remix
Nobody asks for this but we needed it.

@@BouncyGlowsMusicRoom i hope you get to make music for a sonic game one day that would be awsome
Another wonderful remix! I love the guitar just jamming out in the background! Gives you so many things to listen to!
I'm content to hear that the guitars brought life to this remix. Thanks for your comment.
Bouncy Glow Spin-Offs Of course! You're remixes are always great!

@@santiagoarro1198 this is act two-
I dont know why sega has a reluctance to make sequels to sonic mania? It did so well, why not do it again? there's a wealth of levels to pull from and make new ones too
Because sega sucks and has been shooting themselves in the foot since the late 90s
Because they relied on nostalgia for basically all of their games now
Infighting with Sonic Team-no seriously, that's the reason.
The fucking chills.
Good remix!
Suprisingly i have not found any comments talking about robotnik outrunning sonic
Good!

THANK YOU
(maybe you could have added an echo over some parts though, considering you're actually in space.)
BUT THE THANK YOU STILL APPLIES
Thank you! I was thinking about throwing in some more echo/reverb. In case if you are wondering, many people have been complaining that a lot of my remixes contain too much reverb, so that is why I was a bit hesistant to include it.
If anything there would be no echo since in space there's nothing for the sound waves to reverb off of
+Silverfisherman

Really like this one.
If you listen to the 3rd segment of this at 1.25 speed, it sounds like you're in a massive epic area that you're about to blow to bits. It's fire

Probably because the death egg has nothing to do with the plot.
