- Lefkada is a Greek island in the Ionian Sea and is accessible by a car, plane or boat. It offers numerous gorgeous exotic beaches with turquoise waters, endless options are far as accommodation goes and of course excellent cuisine.
One of the most famous beaches on the island, is the beach of Agios Nikitas. This is a small beach resort, situated on the northwestern coast, 4 km northwest of Karya and 10 km southwest of Lefkada city.
The beach has crystal clear turquoise waters, while the village offers numerous coffee shops, taverns, hotels and apartments. From the beach, you can also grab a taxi boat to visit the nearby beaches of Kathisma and Milos.
