Your first Snowboy will always be perfect. 2. You're more than welcome to make a smaller Snowboy as long as the 90/100 ratio fits, it'll be perfect.
You didn’t mention the trick where you put 10 patterns in a row on the ground and roll one max-size snowball toward another max-size snowball at the other end. Also, you should have mentioned that if you set the time back, all your snowboys will disappear! Lots of people have learned this the hard way (including myself) so it would’ve been good to know that ahead of time.
Hold up- snowboys can talk, meaning they're probably alive. Snowboys are made of ice. Ice is water. This means water is a living thing. The clouds are alive. The ocean is alive. What kind of insane world has Nintendo created.
Theres a easier cheat. All you need to do is make both snowballs as big as possible. Make a 14 space long path with one snowball at each end. Then roll one snowball along the path onto the other. Having a 14 space path will shrink it to the correct size.
I made one perfect snowboy by accident. I play southern hemisphere. Winter is done for me now happily. I tried and tried to make another perfect one but it didn't happen.
Could we possibly be friends in Animal crossing? I want to visit someone who has a southern hemisphere because I missed donating a dragonfly a few months ago 😅
@@lindatannock I watched a video and she rolled both snowballs to max then placed a stone path that was 10 squares and rolled the one snowball down the path which shrinks that snowball and at the end of the path it pops up onto the other one for a perfect snow boy every time. I wish I had seen the video before my 2nd one I made that wasn’t perfect. I wonder... if we go back in time would we get the chance to remake some? Would we be able to collect things we still need? I haven’t had one balloon give me a diy for anything to do with holiday season. Same thing happened for mushroom season 😤 I’ve never time jumped yet so don’t know if you lose things when you go back in time 🤔
There is an even easier way to make perfect snowboys every time. 1. Place down exactly 10 custom tiles or path in a line. (horizontally is best) 2. Roll both balls to 100% size 3. Place each 100% ball on each end of the 10 tile strip (NOT on top of the tiles, just to the side of the tiles) 4. Roll one 100% ball down the 10 tiles and it will reduce to 90% by the time you reach the other 100% ball and merge them. I've done this and gotten perfect snowboys everytime

Only snowboys. I already finished winter in southern hemisphere. Snowboy will give you a prize each day you talk to him until he melts. You get Nook miles for making snowboys. He's a little jerk when you don't get it right. I only made 1 perfect snowboy personally.
It is SUPER important that you push the HEAD to the other snowball. I just thought they would put it in order when I pushed them together, but I was wrong! It was an upside down snowman and he was furious! He told me that I made a SARCASTIC SNOWMAN!! 😭 It was an accident!! He was So bitter that he never gave me anything but misery!! 😥
Before finding your video, I would either be so close or I would be insulted because I was nowhere near the mark. After watching your video and learning that the piece I was missing was the percent ratio, it has made a HUGE difference. Thank you so much ❤️
First Snow boy you make gives recipe and large snowflake despite imperfections. Next day took me second try to make perfect snowboy. I normally save before attempting, you have to build quickly to beat the automated also watch out for doing beetles who will sabotage the snowball. Today which is third day of snow event, I managed to make one first try also the snowballs spawn outside Sprinkles 's home but very close to my homemade stonehenge.
I didn't know if you made an imperfect snowboy you can just switch off the game like when 1 of your dreamie villagers ask to move out and you want to reset it to another animal asking to move out right? Wow cool! Thanks Abdallah!!
The snow-family got me on edge for ACNL simply because of all of the different proportions, but I'm glad it's all simplified this time around. I'm quite frankly tired of playing bingo during the winter! xD
I would have just been trying randomly to see what works. This method is probably what I'll do since most of my island has invisible squares too. Thanks!
I couldn't do it that way, but I made a path ten tiles long, then made the biggest snow ball and put it at the end of the path, then made a second biggest snowball and rolled it down the path to the other one and it made a perfect snowboy! Hope this helps someone else who's struggling!
mine happened by accident too, to have all island with some paths and designs unless one area where i had my black and golden roses and an area decently empty where they spawn, I cleared it out so i can use it to make the snowmen.I use the body ratio till the eyes ,and the head till the mouth, and it works just fine.
I didn't make a perfect Snowboy and he still gave me a large snowflake and diy...even though my Snowboy "looked" perfect. But he did say it was my first time and that it was his birthday. I have a feeling I'm going to be closing the game a few times tomorrow. 😂
I cant eyeball it like you do. But I have discovered that when I make body and head as big as possible and then roll the head on a path or design of 16 „tiles“ (6 tiles is enough and do it three times and stay on the path with the head) and join them direct afterwards the snowboard is also perfect every time 🤗
How did I not see this. I have notifications turned on. But oh well I now know how to make the perfect one. Also if anyone in the southern hemisphere would let me in to do some fishing and bug catching that would be amazing. Started the game real late sunk missing most of the summer bugs and fish

Actually the other residents can collect a snowflake from the one you build that day. Just cant get them from day old or older ones. As a southern isle owner I was able to do this with each of my alternate accounts but just the one built that day. Edit: Unless they have updated it where you cannot.
You can also make very small perfect snowboy as long as the ratio is correct. I end up making them small because they are much faster to make as you don’t need to keep rolling to max size.

He most likely time traveled. I live in the US and it's only snowing, not covered yet. As for snowing times, it's different for everyone. But you should expect some flakes soon.

If you make both balls as big as possible then put 10 tiles of a different type instead of snow then put the balls at each end then roll the head over the 10 tile path into the body, it will be perfect every time
It should be noted that if you turn you game off to try again, the snowballs will respaw somewhere else. Also rolling them down an incline is a bad idea. esp if you have trees at the bottom :|

Do Snowballs re-swawn if you TT back & forth over say.. 2 days? Like how the money tree, fossils etc do? (I kinda want to build a field of snowboys but would need around 12 at once, so TT would be the only way lol)
How did you make the 'invisible snow pattern' design that the snowboys are sitting on? The Blue Bubbly type one. I noticed you only rolled the snowballs on top of that pattern, so I'm guessing that makes it an invisible pattern?! (lol - sorry that makes no sense at all - I really Hope someone understands what I mean!) I love it & want to set my snowboys out like this Tysm if anyone knows the answer!
i follow this ratio, but just make them mini. i pretty much make them as small as humanly possible so that it can be quick and also theyre way cuter for photos this way
It is very frustrating, I keep getting the base to jump on the head, when I try to push the head to jump on the base nothing happens :( Edit: I made a perfect snowboy but the only method that worked for me is to make both snowballs maximum size, and leave ten tiles between both of them, then roll one of them towards the other on the tiles and that’s how it worked!
I am just horrified. I just tried making my snow boy and the snowball didn’t bounce up on top they both just started rolling and I was near the edge by beach so I went to roll the one away to try again and then it bounced on top and it was the bigger one on top. So I closed the game and came back and it was still there so I traveled back just 10 minutes thinking that would work. It didn’t and my other two snow boys were gone. So then I tried going back to previous evening and that was the same. The others were gone. So went back to current time and discovered all my turnips were rotten 🤬 so now I have no snow boys and 14,000 rotten turnips 😭 just a crummy end to my day after spending several hours in the ER today. I just don’t understand why my turnips were rotten. I didn’t travel forward past the week and only went to night before.

I did some time traveling backwards to play in the winter season when I first got the game, and I like to make the TINIEST perfect snowboys 😊

It is very frustrating, I keep getting the base to jump on the head, when I try to push the head to jump on the base nothing happens :(
Edit: I made a perfect snowboy but the only method that worked for me is to make both snowballs maximum size, and leave ten tiles between both of them, then roll one of them towards the other on the tiles and that’s how it worked!

I am just horrified. I just tried making my snow boy and the snowball didn’t bounce up on top they both just started rolling and I was near the edge by beach so I went to roll the one away to try again and then it bounced on top and it was the bigger one on top. So I closed the game and came back and it was still there so I traveled back just 10 minutes thinking that would work. It didn’t and my other two snow boys were gone. So then I tried going back to previous evening and that was the same. The others were gone. So went back to current time and discovered all my turnips were rotten 🤬 so now I have no snow boys and 14,000 rotten turnips 😭 just a crummy end to my day after spending several hours in the ER today. I just don’t understand why my turnips were rotten. I didn’t travel forward past the week and only went to night before.
